Description.

The H&K MP5K Full Metal AEG SMG Rifle with Eshooter ETU GEN-2 in Black, model CM041K, takes the familiar MP5 and strips it down to the essentials. Made by Cyma under official Umarex and Heckler & Koch licensing, this compact Rifle combines authentic H&K styling with a metal receiver, integrated vertical foregrip and stockless Kurz layout. The result is a remarkably short airsoft gun that's particularly at home in CQB, where a long barrel and stock can quickly become more hindrance than help.

The CM041K sits firmly in the compact submachine gun camp. Unlike a conventional electric rifle, there's no shoulder stock extending behind the receiver. Instead, you get a minimalist rear end plate fitted with a sturdy sling loop. Hook it onto a suitable single-point sling and the MP5K can sit close to the body, ready to bring into action without having a stock catching on door frames, barriers and the rest of your kit.

Up front is the characteristic MP5K integrated vertical foregrip. It's not there merely to complete the classic silhouette. On such a short Airsoft AEG, the grip gives your support hand a positive and consistent position while keeping it safely behind the muzzle. It also avoids adding the extra bulk of an aftermarket rail and separate grip. Simple, compact and very MP5K.

The upper receiver and cocking tube assembly are metal, giving the CM041K considerably more substance in the hands than a lightweight polymer SMG. The lower grip frame uses impact-resistant polymer, maintaining the familiar MP5 construction style. Authentic H&K markings finish things off nicely and make this much more convincing as a replica than an unlicensed BB Gun wearing vaguely MP5-shaped furniture.

Where this particular MP5K really moves on from older designs is the trigger system. Cyma has fitted the Eshooter ETU Gen-2 electronic trigger unit at the factory, replacing conventional mechanical trigger contacts. The electronic system provides complete gearbox cycle detection and a much sharper trigger response. That's especially worthwhile in CQB, where many sites restrict players to semi-auto and being able to make quick, controlled follow-up shots matters.

The Eshooter ETU Gen-2 isn't simply an electronic on/off switch either. Programmable firing options include 3-round burst configurations, giving you more flexibility over how the gun behaves. Electronic pre-cocking prepares the gearbox for the following shot, reducing the delay when the trigger is pressed. Active braking helps stop motor over-spin at the end of a cycle, while low-voltage protection is designed to help safeguard LiPo batteries against excessive discharge.

The ETU is backed up by Cyma's upgraded gearbox setup, using high-speed steel gearing, steel bushings and a high-torque neodymium motor. That combination suits the MP5K nicely. This isn't a platform where you need a huge barrel or oversized external furniture; responsive cycling and a crisp semi-auto trigger are much more useful when you're working around tight indoor structures.

The stockless layout also gives the CM041K a useful secondary role. It's small enough to be considerably easier to carry than a conventional full-length airsoft rifle, which may appeal to sniper or designated marksman players wanting a compact AEG for close-range situations. Equally, for dedicated CQB players, it works perfectly well as the main platform. It's short, uncomplicated and doesn't have much sticking out to snag on scenery.

Magazine compatibility remains reassuringly familiar. The CM041K accepts standard Tokyo Marui-spec MP5 AEG magazines, including regular mid-caps and high-capacity magazines. It's also compatible with the short 28-round flush-style MP5 magazines, which suit the tiny proportions particularly well. Run one of those and the whole package becomes almost comically compact. In a good way.

The front sight and muzzle cap arrangement can be removed to access the muzzle setup or accommodate specialised MP5K suppressor adapters, giving you options for fitting compatible tracer units and mock suppressors. Because this arrangement differs from the conventional exposed 14mm CCW muzzle found on many AEGs, it's worth checking the exact adapter required for whichever muzzle device you plan to use.

Overall, the CM041K is for the airsofter who wants an MP5 in its smallest, most purposeful form without being stuck with old-fashioned internals. The stockless body and vertical grip keep the traditional Kurz character intact, while the Eshooter ETU Gen-2 adds the trigger response, pre-cocking and programmable behaviour you'd expect from a much newer Airsoft AEG. Tiny footprint. Proper metal MP5 feel. Much smarter electronics than its retro shape lets on.
