In a lot of situations, particularly from a distance or during an emergency, it is virtualy impossible to distinguish an airsoft gun from a real gun. becoude of this police officers will always treat reports involving immatation firearms, as real guns until the situation has been assessed.

Are airsoft guns legal in the UK?

Yes. Airsoft guns are legal to own in the UK, although there are some laws governing their sale, transportation and purchase of realistic imitation firearms. airsoft Retailers and owners must comply with relevant UK laws and legislation including the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006.

Can you carry an airsoft gun in public?
