Description.
The G&G ETU 2.0 and MOSFET 4.0 system is the latest generation electronic trigger upgrade designed for Version 2 gearbox airsoft rifles. Found as standard equipment in many modern G&G AEG platforms, this system is also available as a standalone unit for repairs or upgrades. It replaces traditional mechanical trigger contacts with an electronic trigger unit, improving trigger response while helping protect the internal electrical components of your airsoft gun.
Mechanical trigger contacts in AEGs can wear down over time due to electrical arcing. The MOSFET system redirects that electrical load away from the trigger contacts, improving reliability and efficiency while also allowing more consistent power delivery from the battery to the motor. The result is a noticeably sharper trigger feel and smoother gearbox cycling during skirmishes.
This system also includes programmable firing options, allowing users to configure their rifle to operate with either full automatic fire or a three-round burst mode. A built-in low battery indicator helps monitor LiPo battery levels, which is useful during longer game days to avoid over-discharging the battery.
Designed primarily for G&G M4 variants, the system is compatible with most Version 2 gearboxes used in common airsoft platforms. When installing in non-G&G replicas, minor adjustments to the gearbox shell or selector plate may occasionally be required to achieve a perfect fit.
