Whether you’ve always loved the G3 platform or you just want something different from the M4-and-AK crowd, the LCT G3A4-W AEG in Olive Green delivers serious Cold War flavour with modern performance. With its steel sliding stock and green wide foregrip, it doesn’t just look like a classic—it feels like one too. This thing’s built like a flipping railway sleeper. It’s heavy, solid, and unapologetically German. And that satisfying “HK slap”? Oh, it’s very much on the table.

Externally, LCT’s done what LCT does best—metal. And not just any metal. Full steel upper and lower receiver, flash hider, cocking handle, barrel, and front assembly. The outer barrel is threaded 14mm CCW, so you’ve got full compatibility with suppressors or tracer units. The handguard and pistol grip are tough ABS, but the fit and finish feel high-end. Now, performance. Inside the LC-3A4-W you’re looking at a reinforced Version 2-style gearbox with 9mm bearings, high-torque 22700 RPM motor, CNC aluminum piston and cylinder heads, and polycarbonate piston with steel teeth. This gearbox is as solid as the externals, and it’s QD spring ready, which makes life easier if you want to dial your FPS up or down depending on your site rules.

The barrel is a 515mm brass tightbore, 6.02mm ID, paired with a rotary hop unit made from POM. Out of the box, it performs surprisingly well even with basic BBs. Feed it heavier ammo like .28g or .30g, and it starts to shine—especially with the longer barrel helping with stability. It’ll happily run on a 7.4v LiPo for decent trigger response, but it wakes up nicely with an 11.1v if your field and spring setup allow it.

Battery installs in the front handguard, which is roomy enough for most stick-type Lipos. It's front-wired with a Mini Tamiya connector, so you’ll want to keep your wiring tidy when reinstalling the handguard. Fire selector gives you safe, semi, and full-auto—classic G3 configuration. Mags? It comes with a 140-round midcap. Same story as other LCT mags—tight fit, no wobble, but the locking tabs can be delicate, so maybe don’t slam them like you're in a B-movie.

This is a brilliant choice if you’re building a Cold War loadout, doing a Bundeswehr kit, or just want a unique assault rifle platform that hits hard and turns heads. It’s a bit of a unit at 4.9kg, but the realism and sheer presence it brings more than make up for that.
