BEGINNER GRADE WEAPON – SUITABLE FOR BEGINNER SKIRMISH USE (PLEASE READ BELOW)
DESCRIPTION:
Before all the more experienced players begin to get up in arms about how this is not skirmishable
let me provide my justification as to why this IS; It is (VERY surprisingly) not far off the accuracy
and range of the more expensive “proper” black WELL MP7 (which I have owned and used, and is
now used by one of my teammates, the WELL R4 90~100 pound model)
While the build quality on this is nowhere near the standard of the R4, the range and accuracy are
actually not horrendous – it is more than capable of shooting pistol ranges with absolute ease.
Beacause this is not to the same standard as the “proper” skirmish counterpart do not expect to be
able to make amazing headshots at the same range as an M4, but do expect to be able to hit someone
in the chest from a short burst.
Build quality in mind, this is pretty much on par with the other cheap beginner guns, it is NOT fantastic
quality in terms of how sturdy it is and how well it stands up to the tests of time, and while this is sold as
a REPLICA Mp7 it does have a great deal of “artistic licence” being took by the manufacturer – the stock
is the wrong type, and the MP7 model this is based off does not have the RIS system on the foreword lower
instead it has the folding grip, however for less than half the RRP of the more expensive skirmish grade MP7
these issues can’t really be called into play. For backyard use none of this matters, and it is more than
capable of holding up to a few knocks and bumps (even more so than some of the cheap M4's)
This makes a fantastic beginner weapon as MP7’s are rather uncommon meaning if you have your heart set
on using one as your proper skirmish weapon you won’t really get the chance to familiarise yourself with
the weapon beforehand; the D89 allows younger/newer players to get used to the feel of a PDW like the
MP7 before they move onto either the R4 model or a GBB model of MP7 – at least by using this they are
able to develop a comfortable shooting position, get used to how the magazines fit in pouches, how the
weapon FEELS in the hands etc.
To get the most out of this rifle, we at BBGuns recommend you using either of these ammo types:
(0.12 Grams) (0.2 Grams)

Won't be beaten for £50
Posted by TiDY42086 on 9th Apr 2022
Wasn't expecting much for £50 but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package. Even though the magazine was missing the guys at bbguns4less must have noticed their mistake and shipped the missing magazine before I even had chance to tell them as it arrived the next working day (nice work boys).
At first glance the plastic looks a bit cheap and flimsy but once picked up it feels surprisingly sturdy but lightweight and when fully assembled with battery and magazine, nicely balanced. Hardly any movement and no creaking or squeaking in any of the parts. The magazine fits snug and clicks in with a nice feel and the ambidextrous and ergonomic magazine release works well for rapid magazine changes. The battery can be a little awkward to fit without getting the wires caught but after trying a couple of times and applying a little logic I can easily switch the battery out within 60 seconds. This should never become a problem though, because if the battery is charged correctly it will easily last a whole day plinking around the garden.
Plenty of top rail space and I like the option of having pistol or rifle style flip up sights. Nice to have the front mounted rails and foregrip too. However, the foregrip is very cheap and flimsy and moves around a little when clipped into place on the bottom front rail. But as it says in the title it's £50, you really can't complain.
To sum up. Exactly as described in the description, looks quite basic but performs superbly for the price after extensive garden testing. 1000s of rounds fired in both fully and semi automatic and never jammed, good accuracy over 10 metres, around 280 fps and over 400 rounds per minute, lots of nice little touches even if it is ugly as hell, but that's part of its charm to me. Looks better in the blue rather than the orange as shown in the pictures too.
You can't have more fun for £50 with your clothes on!! -

Best beginner gun
Posted by Dom on 25th Jun 2020
I got this for Christmas as my first automatic airsoft gun. I have a pistol and this and let me tell you how good this thing is for £45. I won serval backyard battles with this thing it’s incredible and at a airsoft match you can have fun. You won’t be murdering everyone but you will get some fun kills while spraying. It’s hop up is basically on off not too controllable but it’s not bad. I would recommend if you don’t want to spend a lot of money but wanna test out airsoft get a cheap spring pistol, shoot it a bit then realise you want this automatic accurate beast

Replying to ‘best aeg for price’ I would say that the £39.99 P90 is better, as it’s more sturdy and harder to break

Best AEG for price

I don't think you can get anything better for this price. A nice strong gun with rifle and pistol sights and adjustable hopup.

Brilliant weapon

Got to admit I was a bit worried about this weapon at first but when I received it and used it I found it a good weapon I will be using this as a back up rifle as my main one is a sniper rifle

PLEASE REPLY ;)
Posted by Help Meh please on 10th Apr 2016
I am thinking of getting this for skirmishing, I already have my primary sniper rifle, when enemies get close or when I have to clear a building I could pull this out. Therefore I have my sniper for the long range kills, so accuracy and range doesn't mean that much to me but I want to know if this gun is durable, a £50 AEG must have plastic internals?? How will this hold up over some time?
Please reply :) -
EXCELLENT FIRST GUN
Posted by Unknown on 7th Oct 2015
This is an amazing gun for beginners, it has great accuracy and range for its price but I do not reccomend it for a skirmish but for a backyard war it would be brilliant!

This gun has great range. It has great fps for its small price.
It is also sturdy and strong. The battery is incredible for its size too.
Only issue is its magazine as mine broken with a couple of days :/
