Description

The VORSK VM9 is a Full-Metal GBB Airsoft Replica with VORSK's unique style and flair, as well as "tactical" features that any airsoft sidearm should have.

When you look at the VORSK VM9, you'll notice the raised rail section on the back of the slide. This is where the rear green fibre sights are mounted, and it also serves as a stable base for all your aftermarket sights and optics. This rail has a hole in the middle, which is used to line up the rear and raised front fibre sights. What used to be a standard 180° opening for the ejection port now has six cut-out "fins" that line up with the rear slide grip markings and, when combined with the mounted rail, make the slide look very aggressive. As with most VORSK replicas, the inner 6.03mm barrel is threaded to accept VORSK's barrel extending suppressor kits. The outer barrel is also threaded for your suppressors/tracers. When the trigger is in the "single-action" position, the VM9 is ready to fire.

The fire control can be moved to the "safe" position, which "decocks" the hammer and disengages the trigger, making the gun "safe" to use in no-fire zones. When the safety is turned off, the trigger can move again. If there is still a round in the chamber, the VM9 can be fired with a "long-pull" of the double-action trigger, which first pulls back the hammer and then releases the firing pin. Aside from the hammer, you can also reach the slide-release, the magazine-release, and other parts of the furniture.

The VM9 platform has an easy-to-use slide release that will make you want to get inside and fiddle with the hop-up unit. It also needs all the usual lubrication care that a full-metal GBB sidearm needs. The only large piece of polymer on this replica is the moulded, stippled pistol grip. It wraps around a double-stacked magazine to give a firm, chunky grip. The magazine itself has a "mid-range" extension that lets it hold up to 30 rounds and a larger gas reservoir than the typical VM9 magazine that came with the VM9 OSIRIS from VORSK.

Since the platform is the same, VORSK also sells standard VM9 magazines and 50R magazines that are longer.

The VM9 is another impressive airsoft platform from VORSK. Its design moves away from the typical look of a sidearm and adds some practical features that make this replica look better and work better.

We recommend that 0.20gram BBs are used or refer to our BB buying guide and for the summer months to use Green Gas and red gas for the winter month. We also recommend, due to it being a gas blowback gun, purchasing silicone lubricant from our website for gun maintenance.
