The SA-H08 carbine replica made by Specna Arms is mostly made of a zinc and aluminium alloy. The most vulnerable parts of the replica are made of steel to make them stronger (steel elements - all the screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Polymer was used to make both the stock pad and the pistol grip. The replica's receiver and RIS handguard have been anodized, which gives them a high level of protection against corrosion. Before the paint was put on, the surface was sandblasted. The paint was then put on using a process called powder coating. This makes the paint much harder to scratch than it would be otherwise. The receiver has markings from the maker.

The parts of the replica are very well aligned, and the replica is also perfectly balanced in a way that could only be seen in high-end replicas made by G&P or Classic Army. This makes it almost perfect for moving the replica around, and once it's on your shoulder, you hardly notice how heavy it is.

A quick spring release system called Enter & Convert TM is built into the replica. Because of this system, it is possible to quickly adjust the power of the replica to the expected conditions on the playing field without needing a workshop or a set of special tools. Once the gearbox is taken out of the replica's body, changing the springs takes literally seconds.

It's hard to say enough good things about the Enter & ConvertTM system. In light of the trend in Europe as a whole to use legal restrictions on the muzzle speed of replicas or internal rules within different groups, the system gives the User a wide range of options and a lot of freedom. The Enter & ConvertTM system lets the mainspring be changed in a short amount of time. This lets the muzzle velocity be adjusted to the area of the game in a way that ensures the best balance between the effectiveness of the fire and the safety of the User and other participants.

Both LiPo and LiFe batteries can be used with the replica. The main spring installed by the manufacturer gives the replica a base muzzle velocity of about 430 FPS. This makes it perfect for use at a medium range. The set also comes with an M90 spring, which slows the muzzle speed to about 310 FPS and makes the replica suitable for close-range and indoor use.

A reinforced gearbox at the level of the cylinder has a steel spring slide that is part of the Enter & ConvertTM system and is mounted on steel gears with 8mm ball bearings and washers. Four anti-reversal latches keep the system from being turned around. A steel tooth is added to a polycarbonate piston, which is light and strong, to make it last longer. Also included are a type 2 cylinder, a steel circuit breaker, and a metal Hop-Up chamber.
The replica has a top RIS 22mm rail, a RIS handguard, and a stock that can be changed. The top RIS rail has metal flip-up iron sights that can be taken off easily so that an optoelectronic aiming device can be attached. Due to the replica's extendable stock and non-slip stock pad, the length can be changed to fit the User's body and preferences. The standard flash hider has a 14 mm left-handed thread that lets a silencer be attached in its place.
The replica also has a working bolt-catch mechanism, which adds to the realism of the game.

The SF stock on the stock slide of the 06 version can be folded up. A battery is also kept in the stock. The replica's handguard has a RIS rail with an M-Lock system that lets the user change the position of the RIS rail to suit their needs. There are two QD tactical sling mounts on the handguard. The whole thing is finished off with a QD silencer on a 14 CCW thread.

The replica comes with a steel Hi-Cap magazine that holds 300 BBs.
