Description

Specna Arms' replica of the SA-H01 assault rifle is mostly made of a zinc-aluminum alloy. The most vulnerable parts of the replica are strengthened with steel parts (steel elements - all the screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the stock pad and the pistol grip were made from polymer. The replica's receiver and RIS handguard have been anodized, which gives them a high level of protection against corrosion. Powder coating was used to put the paint on the surface, which had been through the same process before the paint was put on. This makes the paint much harder to scratch than it would be otherwise. The receiver bears manufacturer markings.
The parts of the replica fit together very well, in a way that was only noticeable before in replicas made by top-tier companies like G&P or Classic Army. The replica is also perfectly balanced. This makes it almost easy to move the replica, and once it's on your shoulder, you almost don't notice how heavy it is.

The replica features a quick spring release system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. Because of this system, it is possible to quickly adjust the power of the replica to the expected conditions on the playing field without needing a workshop or a set of special tools. Once the gearbox has been taken out of the body of the replica, the process of changing the springs literally takes seconds.

The advantages of Enter & Convert™ system are hard to overstate. In light of the trend in Europe as a whole to use legal restrictions on the muzzle speed of replicas or internal rules within different groups, the system gives the user a wide range of options and a lot of freedom. The Enter & ConvertTM system lets you change the main spring in a short amount of time. This lets you tailor the muzzle speed to the area of the game in a way that ensures a good balance between how well the gun shoots and how safe it is for the user and other participants.

Both LiPo and LiFe batteries can be used with the replica. Due to the base muzzle velocity of ~430 FPS provided by the main spring installed by default by the manufacturer, the replica is perfect for operating on a medium range. The set also comes with an M90 spring, which slows the muzzle speed to about 310 FPS and makes the replica suitable for close-range and indoor use.

The rifle has an M4 flash hider that attaches via a 14mm CCW thread that can allow for alternatives such as silencers or tracer units. There are sling points on the front that resemble those of an MP5 front sling point. There is a foldable front sight which gives an excellent sight picture and an impressive amount of accuracy in any environment. There is a substantial rail system at the front with four 20 picatinny rail set up to allow a variety of attachments such as a laser light module, fore grip or PEQ box to complete the look of the system. The upper receiver is metal and sits a 20mm picatinny rail that allows for a scope or sight to improve the accuracy and the range of the system. The charging handle allows the hop up to be adjusted. When the charging handle is used it will open the dustcover and show the chamber inside. There is a dial that can be adjusted to allows for more accurate and greater ranged shots. The more hop the higher the BB will go the less hop the quicker the BB will drop a balance will give an excellent range and accuracy.

The lower receiver is metal and in the M4 style with the controls of the system sat ergonomically to allow for easier and efficient operation. The controls consist of the fire selector switch, trigger, and magazine release. All of these are in metal and are in the M4 style to maintain the look and the feel had with this rifle. The fire modes for the rifle are safe, semi and fully automatic. the grip off the rifle is made of high-quality polymer that is ergonomic and comfortable. It is textured to give an excellent non-slip grip and better handling of the rifle. There is a collapsible stock that can be adjusted to make the rifle much more comfortable and compact ensuring it can curve round corners and be effective and efficient in any environment.

The gearbox, which is reinforced on the top of the cylinder head, hides a steel main spring guide that is part of the Enter & ConvertTM system, as well as 8mm ball bearings and steel thread wheels that are set on spacers. The system is secured with the use of four anti-reversals. A type 2 cylinder and a steel breaker are present. The replica comes with an accurate, rotary-type polymer Hop-Up unit that lets you control BB overclocking in a very accurate and stable way.
The replica is equipped with a 22mm top RIS rail, RIS handguard and an adjustable stock. The top RIS rail features metal flip-up iron sights, which can be freely detached in order to make room for the attachment of a chosen optoelectronic aiming device. Due to an extendable stock with a non-slip stock pad, the length of the replica can be changed to fit the user's body and preferences. The standard flash hider is made with a 14 mm left-hand thread, so it can be replaced with a silencer.
The replica also has a working bolt-catch mechanism, which adds to the realism of the game.
The 01 version features a foldable stock mounted on slides, which significantly reduces the length of the replica, making it an ideal tool for CQB combat. This, though, means that the battery that comes with the set has to be moved into a fake AN/PEQ sight casing on the front of the replica.
