Description

As with most of the Specna Arms line, the SA-H05 is mostly made of Zinc, Aluminum, and Steel. The quality and reliability of this replica is important to Specna as they want their RIFs to feel great in the hands.

The Rifles Build

All of the replica's components fit together neatly and evenly, a trait previously only discernible in high-quality copies made by companies like G&P and Classic Army. As a result, once the copy is slung over the shoulder, its weight is hardly perceptible and its manoeuvrability is nearly optimal.

The Handguard and Receiver are made of a strong aluminium alloy, and the finish on these replicas really continues to stand out thanks to anodizing, powder coating and sandblasting. Steel is used to make the rifle's screws, pins, and swivels so that they will last and look great for a long time.

The Handguard is a very unique combination of M-LOK and 20mm RIS. It can take rails in the form of M-LOK or adaptor rails that can be screwed into the fittings. The Handguard also has QD sling points on both the left and right sides, so it can be used by people with either hand. At the end of the barrel is an alloy flash hider, and underneath this is a 14mm CCW thread for suppressors and tracer units.

The Receiver also has a 20mm rail for adding sights or anything else you're brave enough to put up there. At the back of the RIF is a six-position, sliding Clubfoot stock made of a very tough polymer that can hold big batteries up to about 7.4v 2600mAh (brand dependent).

The rubber butt on the Clubfoot stock twists 90 degrees and comes off completely. This makes it very easy to get to the battery compartment. The trigger for releasing the stock is also different and easy to use because it is small and out of the way.

The Internals

The Specna Arms SA-H05 Airsoft replica has their own quick release system called Enter & ConvertTM. This makes changing the main spring much faster than with standard AEGs.

Even though you still have to take the gearbox apart to get to the quick-change spring, not having to do so will save you a lot of trouble.

The "Specna Arms Quality" continues on the inside of the replica, where you will find parts that are nicer than usual. Both the gears and the Spring Guide are made of strong steel.

It has four anti-reversal latches and 8mm ball bearings to protect your gears from abuse. Inside, there is also a metal HOP chamber that can be adjusted by pulling the charging handle to the back and making changes inside the fake dust cover.

The "mock bolt hold-open" works and will lock the "mock dust cover" to the back. Pressing the "mock bolt release" will unlock it.

Performance

This airsoft gun works perfectly with LiPo and LiFe batteries. This replica is ideal for use at medium ranges because to the main spring's base muzzle velocity of around 430 FPS. The kit also comes with an M90 spring, which may be used to lower the replica's muzzle velocity to around 310 FPS, making it more suitable for use at short ranges or in confined spaces.
