Description

The EU17 is a well-known and recognisable airsoft replica, and NUPROL is proud to offer it to us as a part of their RAVEN series.

This pistol is reliable in either a CBQ or practical pistol shooting due to its realistic gas blowback recoil, front rail, and textured ergonomic grip.

This RAVEN is both durable and lightweight thanks to its construction out of high-density polyer and a lifelike alloy slide that is made of a tough alloy.

Beginning with the front of the pistol, we have the alloy barrel that has a 12mm clockwise female thread at the very end. This thread allows attaching tracer units, suppressors, and other muzzle devices to the barrel using an adapter that goes from 11mm to 14mm clockwise.

We can see the mock ejection port on the right side of the slide. This is the opening through which we can see the outer barrel.

Although it does not perform any practical function on an airsoft gas blowback gun (GBB), the rear of the ejection port features a mock extractor that is moulded as a separate piece to add an extra layer of realism. Additionally, it adds a little bit of aesthetic style seeing it moulded as a separate piece to more faithfully simulate the real world original.

On the dust cover of the EU17 is a 20mm Picatinny pistol rail, which enables the mounting of pistol torches, lasers, and any other accessories that are compatible with the 20mm Picatinny standard.

On the rail itself, we can see the plate with the serial number. This plate also serves as a trigger lock safety, which is primarily for transportation purposes. It can be engaged by pushing it backwards, and it can be released by pushing it forwards.

The trigger guard is located at the rear of the frame rail, and in typical fashion for the EU series, it is shaped to facilitate the use of a shooting style known as the "European grip." Additionally, the front face of the trigger guard has checkering for increased grip. Between the trigger guard and the trigger.

The operation of the toy pistol is very similar to that of the real thing; the trigger cannot be pressed unless the separate centre section has also been pressed. This serves to reduce the chances of an accidental discharge, which means that the pistol will not fire unless your finger is on the trigger. This is a safety feature.

Additionally, the frame of the EU17 has a texture that makes it easier to find under fire, and an extended release that makes it simpler to remove the magazine from the weapon. If you wear gloves or not, the textured surfaces that are featured all around the pistol construction are an additional ergonomic feature. These textured surfaces make the pistol feel like it is practically glued to your hand when you hold it.

Your pistol's range and accuracy will be significantly improved thanks to the adjustable Hop Up Unit that comes included with this model.

This causes the BBs to spin and displace the air around them as they travel, which results in a more stable and accurate flight pattern. The hop-up works by touching the fired BBs with a small rubber contact patch, which causes the BBs to spin and displace the air around them.

The hop can be adjusted in every way possible to accommodate a wide variety of BB weights and types. To gain access to the Hop-up unit, simply pull the slide back, then place your thumb on the black back plate of the slide, and push it forward until it detaches from the body. This will allow you to access the unit.

One of the best things about this pistol is that it comes with a Red Dot Sight that is already installed on the back of the top slide. This makes it easy to quickly find your target, and it also looks great.

The light-boosting Ironsights have been changed so that they can be seen through the Dot Sight if you run out of power during a skirmish match. This lets you keep fighting even if you run out of power.

The BDS Red Dot Sight is easy to control with two push buttons on either side of the optic. It also comes with a handy tool for making adjustments to Windage and Elevation (Up/Down, Left/Right) so you can get your pistol to shoot right on target.

Nuprol told us that the sights can be taken off, but when we took a quick look, we didn't see how to do it quickly. I'm sure you can, though.

Since its Tan with Black Top Slide you will need UKARA or Similar defence to buy it unless you go for the two tone option.
