Description.

The Nuprol Battle Visor RX Green/Smoked is full-seal protective airsoft eyewear designed with outdoor skirmishing firmly in mind. Its smoked single-piece polycarbonate lens cuts down uncomfortable brightness and glare, making it a useful choice for sunny woodland games, exposed outdoor sites and those rare British days when you're actually squinting at the objective. The broad visor-style lens keeps peripheral vision pleasantly open, while the green frame sits naturally alongside woodland, OD and military-style loadouts. Protection is the important bit, though: the Battle Visor RX complies with EN166:2001 and carries a B impact rating, providing protection against high-speed particles weighing under 0.86g travelling at up to 120m/s.

The included RX optical insert is a real advantage for airsofters who require prescription correction. Take the insert to an optician, have suitable corrective lenses fitted and it sits neatly within the visor, avoiding the bulk and occasional discomfort of wearing ordinary glasses underneath goggles. The flexible TPU thermoplastic frame uses a foam gasket to create a comfortable full seal around the eyes, while an adjustable elastic head strap keeps the 110g visor planted when you're sprinting between barricades, dropping prone or quickly bringing your airsoft gun onto target. It's a simple setup, but one that makes good sense during a long skirmish day.

Nuprol also gives the smoked lens anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments, helping maintain visibility when you're working hard and providing extra resistance against everyday scuffs. Anti-fog coatings aren't invincible – humidity, sweat, temperature and ventilation still matter – but they're certainly worthwhile on full-seal airsoft goggles. UV protection further suits this version to outdoor use. Compared with the clear Battle Visor RX, the smoked model is better suited to bright conditions and strong sunlight, although CQB players operating in darker buildings may prefer a clear lens for maximum light transmission.
