Description.

The JT Proflex Paintball Mask LE ICE Birthstone - Turquoise brings a bright gemstone-inspired colourway to one of the most recognisable goggle systems around. Released as part of JT's limited-production Birthstone ICE collection, the Turquoise edition has obvious appeal for Proflex collectors, but it's far from being something that should stay on a display shelf. The famously soft and flexible Proflex frame sits comfortably around the face, while the heavily vented construction lets heat and moisture escape more readily than many rigid full-face designs. For an airsofter grinding through a warm CQB session or a full day in the woods, that extra breathability is a very welcome trait.

At the front is JT's dual-pane Spectra thermal lens, providing a broad, clear field of view while helping to control condensation. Dual-pane simply means there are two lens layers creating a thermal barrier, reducing the temperature differences that encourage fog to develop on the inner surface. No passive lens can promise perfect fog-free performance in every combination of humidity, sweat and temperature – something airsofters have debated around safe-zone tables for years – but a thermal lens paired with the Proflex's excellent airflow is a proven approach. Good peripheral visibility also helps when you're scanning woodland cover or checking a doorway without completely turning away from your current firing lane.

The flexible lower section is a defining part of the JT Proflex Turquoise, allowing more natural movement around the jaw and helping speech carry when you're calling hits or communicating with teammates. That pliable construction can also feel less restrictive than a solid mask when you're constantly changing position. If your airsoft gun is fitted with a low-mounted red dot or scope, bear in mind that full-face protection may alter your cheek weld – how your cheek sits against the stock – so a small optic riser can be useful.
