Compact Dimensions, Full-Metal Construction And Snappy Gas Blowback - The Vengeance 3.8 Packs Plenty Into a Smaller Hi-Capa!

Description.

The Vorsk Hi-Capa CS Vengeance 3.8 Compact GBB Airsoft Pistol in Grey takes the familiar Hi-Capa platform and trims it down into a shorter, more manageable package. With its CNC-finished aluminium slide, matching alloy frame and distinctive grey finish, this airsoft pistol has the solid feel of a full-metal handgun without the extra length of a 5.1-inch model. It's a particularly appealing choice for CQB players who want a compact secondary that still offers realistic blowback, adjustable hop-up and a proper double-stack magazine.

VORSK hasn't simply shortened the slide and called it a day, either. The CS Vengeance 3.8 features carefully positioned slide vents, deeper CNC etching and a fluted outer barrel that gives the pistol a distinctive appearance. There's also a textured fish-scale grip and a short-pull trigger. The result is a BB Gun that feels practical rather than overcomplicated, with enough personality to stand out from the usual collection of black Hi-Capas.

Compact CNC Aluminium Construction

Starting at the muzzle, the Vengeance 3.8 features a shortened CNC-finished aluminium alloy slide. At just 209mm overall, it's noticeably more compact than the larger Vengeance models, making it easier to carry in a suitable holster or manoeuvre around tight corners.

The slide features deeper etched detailing that provides useful grip when cocking the pistol. Selective vent ports expose portions of the fluted outer barrel underneath, adding some mechanical character without turning the slide into a collection of enormous cut-outs.

Both the slide and frame use aluminium alloy construction, while the grey hydrostatic paint finish gives the pistol a smart, understated appearance. At approximately 874g, there's still a reassuring amount of weight in your hand. Compact doesn't mean flimsy here.

Moving towards the grip, VORSK has fitted its distinctive fish-scale textured HIPS polymer design. The raised pattern helps your hand maintain a secure hold, particularly when wearing gloves or playing in wet conditions. The beavertail safety requires a firm grip before the pistol can fire, adding another useful element to the familiar Hi-Capa controls.

Snappy Gas Blowback Performance

One of the enjoyable things about a compact GBB pistol is the way the slide cycles. With less slide length than a full-sized model, the Vengeance 3.8 has a lively mechanical character that suits fast-moving skirmishes.

Every trigger pull cycles the metal slide backwards and forwards, producing the satisfying kick and movement that make gas blowback handguns so popular.

VORSK quotes 300 FPS using V6 gas and approximately 320 FPS using V8 gas, both measured with 0.20g BBs at 20°C. Actual muzzle velocity will depend on temperature, gas pressure and operating conditions, so always check your site's limits before playing.

The semi-automatic firing system uses a crisp, short-pull trigger, helping you deliver controlled follow-up shots without excessive finger movement. Whether you're engaging targets during indoor CQB or using the pistol as a backup during woodland games, the compact dimensions make handling straightforward.

6.03mm Tightbore Barrel and Adjustable Hop-Up

Inside the Vengeance 3.8 sits a 96mm long, 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel. Although shorter than the barrel fitted to the 5.1-inch model, it still provides a useful foundation for consistent BB flight.

The adjustable hop-up lets you fine-tune the amount of backspin applied to each BB. Once correctly adjusted for your chosen ammunition, it helps maintain a flatter trajectory and more predictable shot groupings.

For aiming, VORSK has fitted a single fibre-optic front sight paired with a traditional rear notch. It's a straightforward arrangement that keeps the sight picture clear, allowing you to pick up targets without unnecessary distractions.

The shorter sight radius does mean you'll need to pay a little more attention to sight alignment compared with a longer pistol, but that's the trade-off for a more compact handgun. For close-range skirmishing, it's a perfectly sensible compromise.

20mm Accessory Rail and Threaded Muzzle

Underneath the frame sits an integrated 20mm accessory rail, allowing compatible pistol torches and laser accessories to be fitted. That's a handy feature for indoor players who regularly find themselves moving between well-lit areas and darker rooms.

At the muzzle, VORSK supplies a fitted flash hider and a 12mm clockwise to 14mm counter-clockwise thread adaptor. This provides additional options for compatible threaded muzzle accessories, provided the threading and dimensions match.

It's worth checking accessory clearance on a compact pistol, particularly when fitting larger torches or muzzle attachments. There's less room to play with than on a full-sized handgun.

23-Round Gas Magazine and CO2 Compatibility

The Vengeance 3.8 comes supplied with a standard 23-round Hi-Capa Vengeance gas magazine. That's a generous capacity for a compact airsoft handgun, particularly when compared with smaller single-stack pistol designs.

The pistol is compatible with VORSK V6 and V8 GBB fuel. VORSK also includes a CO2 conversion nozzle and spring, allowing the pistol to be configured for compatible CO2 magazines. The CO2 magazine itself is sold separately.

For players who prefer carrying additional ammunition, VORSK offers a compatible 48-round extended gas magazine. It will extend below the grip, of course, but provides considerably more BBs between reloads.

Maintenance hasn't been forgotten either. The box includes a spare gas nozzle, replacement O-rings and a barrel bushing tool. These are genuinely useful additions, especially for anyone planning to use the pistol regularly.

With TM/WE compatibility also listed, there's potential for additional replacement and customisation parts, although individual aftermarket components should always be checked for fitment.
