DESCRIPTION: 

The SPR is a purpose build marksman's rifle spawned from the US Armed Forces request for a rifle
more accurate than the M4 Carbine, yet still shorter than a full length M16. The SPR is currently in
service and has seen action in Afghanistan and Iraq, introduced in 2002 the weapon has gone through
a series of modifications in order to bring it up to the standards that are required of a modern light
sniper rifle. The SPR has always been a go-to option for people customising their M4's into DMR's
within the world of airsoft, so finding aftermarket parts for this will be incredibly easy - the barrel
could be swapped for a tight bore, and the mech box can be fully upgraded with standard V2 parts,
unlike an SR-25 the SPR platform can share 100% of its parts with any airsoft M4's/16's you already have
meaning magazines are also going to be interchangeable.

Out of the box this rifle comes set for use as a DMR; it has a folding, fully adjustable rear sight with a flip up
front sight - this allows you to be able to use the weapon as soon as you get it without having to worry about
instantly getting an optic for it, but still offers that versatility of being able to fold the sights down and out the
way should you decide you would like to use a scope. This version comes with a tubular, more purpose built 
front end, this gives more of an authentic DMR look and is more similar to that used on the real SPR. While
it doesnt feature the same long side rails as the other model, it does come with an elongated smooth top rail,
which is ideal for mounting low profile scopes or red-dots. the smaller side rails can be used to mount a laser
or torch, giving a degree of customisability! The main benefit of the tubular handguard is how comfortable
it is to use - it feels very natural when held and fits your hand very comfortably. Out of the box this rifle also
comes with a folding bipod, allowing you to set up ready for use without forking out extra for the
complete "DMR Look".

As you might expect, the accuracy on this weapon is incredibly good for the medium price bracket - it is capable
of making shots as consistently and as accurately as any M16 would, which in airsoft terms translates to consistent
kills at the 40.50mtr range! I would suggest NOT using a magnified optic with this weapon, as within airsoft the ranges
you will commonly be fighting at will render a scope un-necessary, instead a nice Aimpoint style sight, or ACOG would
compliment this weapon perfectly - they can still be zeroed in to the weapon but don't magnify and as such, won't give
the impression the weapon is not shooting far enough.

Being a higher end Dboys weapon the body is just as nice as you would expect, with the internals being
on par with the outsides!, The rail system is of course all metal, as are all the externals apart from the stock
and pistol grip. Internally the weapon uses a slightly newer V2 gearbox with 7mm bearings, the gearbox is
of course fully upgradable and can be configured any way you like (The weapon will also take "Drop in" pre-
set gearboxes as it fits most standard V2's)
