DESCRIPTION: 

The M4 is a relatively modern rifle, with the current US Army version (the M4A1) being
introduced in 1994, It is a reliable and effective carbine that is IDEAL as a standard service
rifle as it is lightweight, accurate, and can be very quickly modified to suit any role on the
battlefield - The M4/16 platform can be used to make DMR's, Snipers, Rifles, Carbines.. etc.
The iconic shape of the M4 has become the symbol for the modern day assault rifle, it has
featured in almost every war game including the likes of Battlefield and Call Of Duty. It is
not only an immensely popular service weapon but also one of the bestselling sporting rifles
(The AR15 version) ever made. It is even popular in the UK as a sport rifle in the correct legal
configuration.  

Something a little different from Dboys here - This M4 model is set up to be a "Special forces"
model with a large integrated silencer, vaguely reminiscent of the MP5 SD this rifle is INCREDIBLY
good looking and is also very practical for use in airsoft. The integrated Metal suppressor fills the inside
of the RIS and helps eliminate barrel wobble that is a common issue with free-float systems, so
not only does it look amazing it also serves a valuable purpose! The rail system installed on this
rifle is slightly longer than the normal M4 handguard, but not so long as to defeat the advantage of
the rifle being small - it is however JUST enough rail space to allow for the mounting of grips,
lights, lasers, etc. while keeping the general size of the weapon down to a minimum.
This version of the rifle does away with the gas block and front sight giving the weapon a much sleeker
and more modern appearance, Dboys seem to have made a good decision when choosing to have this
weapon rear wired, as it means there is no need for a PEQ box - not there is any issue with using a PEQ,
but for a weapon like this keeping the front end as sleek as possible adds to the looks!

I am a little disappointed with Dboys decision to not include a foresight - a simple rail mounted sight would
have been perfect on this weapon and is something that would definitely be worth getting at some point,
however this rifle is just as much in its element when you remove the rear sight and mount a red-dot, ACOG,
scope, etc! this is really a VERY good looking rifle no matter what you choose to mount on it.

Being a higher end Dboys weapon the body is just as nice as you would expect, with the internals being
on par with the outsides!, The rail system is of course all metal, as are all the externals apart from the stock
and pistol grip. Internally the weapon uses a slightly newer V2 gearbox with 7mm bearings, the gearbox is
of course fully upgradable and can be configured any way you like (The weapon will also take "Drop in" pre-
set gearboxes as it fits most standard V2's)
