This affordable British Army L85 (sa80) AEG comes with a more updated version the Metal RIS Hand Guard to mount your weapons accessories.

The body of the Army R85A2is made entirely of metal, that makes it look and feel like a real one.

This airsoft rifle has an integrated blow-back system that works just like in a real one. The spring guide and the piston head have a balls bearings, and the metal gears are mounted on brass bearings.

The benefit of this rifle over the sister R85 we sell is the extensive rail system, that allows you to place any rail-mounted accessory you would like to fit quick and comfortably.

there is a flip-up sight at the front of the airsoft gun and a removable carry handle.

The r85 airsoft gun comes mostly in black but also has some olive green furniture like the real one, green parts inc the grip, mag cheek rest and butt of the rifle.

The R85 is a bullpup style rifle. Basically, a bullpup rifle is one in which the action is positioned behind the trigger group as opposed to in front of, as in standard rifles. As a result there is no wasted space created by the stock.

Accuracy is affected by barrel length. Longer barrels are generally regarded as better. General handling of a weapon (carrying, going through tight spaces, getting in and out of transports etc) is affected by overall weapon length. Shorter is better.
Bullpup designs have a good ratio of barrel length to overall weapon length when compared with a more traditional design with the chamber more forward (m16s, AKs, etc).

The parts and accessories of other manufacturers are fully compatible with this model, which is very important when you decide to improve performance.

One good thing about this airsoft rifle is that it uses standard M4 mags that many of you may have from your other airsoft guns, so its easy to find and buy spare mags for this gun. if you do want to get an extra mag, look at the M4 magazines on this site made by CYMA or A&K (double eagle, well and blackviper M4 mags with not fit it)
