SKIRMISH GRADE SUPPORT GUN
The imposing German 'buzz saw' machine here and at an excellent price for such a massive airsoft replica of the MG42.
you may have seen this weapon in the movie Saving Private Ryan or Band Of Brothers, the MG42 was one of the most feared German WW2 weapons.
The gun is principally all made of metal but with a wooden stock and wood pistol grip. The only Polymer Part of the gun is the Hand Grip. The 'biscuit tin' mag holds 2500rds and is electrically fed allowing you to really put down some heavy fire with this support weapon. you will need 4x AA batteries for the mag to work (not included) The gun's battery fits within the rear receiver and you remove the stock to do this but its easy and very quick to do so.
The weapon has a fully adjustable swivel bipod that can be adjusted in height if you want to you can fully remove it and make the gun a bit lighter. The mg42 also has some adjustable Ironsights. The magazine is connected to the gun via a wire, so when you squeeze the trigger it automatically feeds the bb's into the gun's magazine, this works very well with very little or no miss-feeds of pellets. the gun was tested at shooting a little over 400 fps on average with 0.20g bbs
This gun is an excellent reproduction for any Re-enactor or Airsoft Skirmisher who wants a piece of history in their hands and a really effective support gun.
