Description
A&K's Airsoft replica of the Winchester 1873 a lever-action repeating rifle. (the Gun that Won the West) This airsoft variant has had the barrel and stock sawn-off, an arrangement more usually known as the Mare's Leg, that was popularised by Steve McQueen's character Josh Randall in the 50s tv show Wanted: Dead or Alive. It has also been featured as a weapon in the video game Battlefield 4.
This replica is made with a real wood and full metal construction.
This cut down version of the Winchester rifle has a large amount of valuable features that will be sure to make the rifle a must have for any air-softer. The system is constructed of real wood and metal to make the gun resilient and accurate to the real gun.
The barrel is made of black metal making the barrel sturdy resilient and durable against anything that gets thrown at it. The gas goes into the gun via the magazine tube it can be filled by rotating the cap off and filling the up via the nozzle beneath and then covering up again with the cap. The rifle has a key mod handguard to ensure a variety of attachments whilst keeping the weight of the rifle very comfortable and wieldable. There is a 20mm picatinny rail that allows a scope or sight to be attached and allow a greater level of accuracy maximising the performance and the ability of the rifle. The receiver is made from black metal and has numerous features that make the rifle close to the real steel counterpart. There is a loading port on the right side of the weapon which adds to the realism of the system and ensuing that it is in keeping with the traditional rifle.
The lever action on the rifle is snappy, reliable and feels very authentic ensuing the experience had with the rifle is extremely enjoyable and is as immersive as possible. When the leaver action is used the hammer will move down and opens the bolt up then moves forwards when fired to make the rifle operate as close to the real thing as possible. The rifle has a sawn off stock leaving the hand-guard to make it more compact and extremely manoeuvrable to cap the grip there is a brass plate to allow the rifle to have a complete look and ensure that the rifles colour scheme is maintained.
