Tokyo Marui Hi-CAPA 5.1 D.O.R GBB Pistol in Black

The Tokyo Marui Hi-CAPA 5.1 D.O.R Airsoft GBB Pistol takes one of the most respected gas blowback platforms in airsoft and refines it even further. D.O.R. stands for Direct Optics Ready, and this model has been purpose-built to accept the Tokyo Marui Micro Pro Sight without requiring bulky aftermarket mounts. Renowned for exceptional reliability, smooth cycling, and outstanding accuracy, the Hi-CAPA platform has become the benchmark for competitive shooters, skirmish players, and custom builders alike. If you're searching for a premium gas blowback airsoft pistol that performs brilliantly straight from the box while offering huge upgrade potential, this is one of the finest choices available.

Like all Tokyo Marui pistols, the Hi-CAPA D.O.R is engineered with performance as the priority. The lightweight polymer slide and frame may surprise players who are used to full metal pistols, but there's a very good reason behind the design. The reduced slide weight allows the pistol to cycle incredibly quickly while improving gas efficiency and reliability, particularly in the cooler temperatures often experienced during UK game days. After using Tokyo Marui Hi-CAPAs for years, it's easy to understand why so many experienced players refuse to switch platforms. They simply work, game after game.

The updated D.O.R model introduces several improvements over the original Hi-CAPA 5.1. The redesigned slide is cut specifically for the Tokyo Marui Micro Pro Sight, allowing the optic to sit lower for a more natural sight picture. A backup rear sight remains available when using the supplied high mount, giving you flexibility regardless of your preferred setup. The new short flat trigger provides a crisp, comfortable trigger pull, while the enlarged slide serrations and semi-long slide release make operation quicker and more positive during fast reloads or malfunction drills.

Powered by Green Gas, the Hi-CAPA D.O.R produces a smooth and satisfying blowback action with the crisp recoil that Tokyo Marui pistols are famous for. The newly developed blowback engine features an integrated piston and short recoil system inspired by the M45A1 platform, improving both reliability and cycling speed. The result is a gas blowback airsoft pistol that remains exceptionally stable during rapid firing while maintaining excellent gas efficiency. Producing skirmish-ready performance straight from the box, it feels refined in every aspect.

Accuracy has always been one of the Hi-CAPA's strongest qualities, and the D.O.R continues that tradition. The adjustable variable hop-up system allows precise tuning for 0.20g and 0.25g BBs, helping maximise range and consistency. Combined with the 112mm inner barrel, the pistol delivers impressively tight groupings that inspire confidence whether you're engaging targets indoors or stretching the distance outdoors. Ever had one of those pistols that simply puts BBs exactly where you expect? That's the Hi-CAPA experience.

The integrated 20mm accessory rail beneath the frame adds further versatility, allowing the fitting of torches or lasers for CQB games. Internally, Tokyo Marui has also reinforced the slide with a metal notch spacer to reduce wear around the slide stop, increasing long-term durability without sacrificing the fast cycling characteristics the platform is known for. It's these thoughtful engineering improvements that continue to set Tokyo Marui apart from many competitors.

One of the biggest advantages of choosing a Hi-CAPA is the enormous aftermarket support available. Virtually every component can be upgraded or customised, from slides and barrels to triggers, hop-up units, recoil springs, and magazine wells. Whether you want to build a lightweight race pistol, a highly customised speedsoft setup, or simply maintain the pistol for years to come, replacement and upgrade parts are available from countless manufacturers worldwide.

If you're looking for a dependable, highly accurate gas blowback airsoft pistol with class-leading reliability and endless upgrade possibilities, the Tokyo Marui Hi-CAPA 5.1 D.O.R is difficult to beat. Its Direct Optics Ready slide, refined internals, smooth recoil, and proven Hi-CAPA platform make it a favourite among competitive shooters and skirmish players alike. From its superb trigger response to its exceptional consistency, this airsoft handgun continues to set the standard that many others aim to follow.
