How do telescopic rifle scopes work
Rifle sights are arranged in terms of magnification and lens diameter, e.g. 10×50. This would mean 10 times magnification with a 50 mm objective lens. Larger objective lens diameters, by gathering more light, provide a brighter image at the eyepiece. Telescopic sights with variable magnification. The magnification can be changed by manually turning the zoom dial. Variable sights offer more flexibility for shooting at varying ranges, targets, and light conditions, and provide a wider field of view at lower magnification settings. The way the ratings work for variable-power sights is: minimum magnification × maximum magnification × objective lens; for example, 3–9×40. Not all telescopic scopes come with mounting brackets (Scope mounts). The mounts come in two parts: the scope base (that fits the gun rail) and the scope rings (to hold the scope), so make sure you get the right mount for your Telescopic scope. you can find our full range of scopes and sights that are great on pistols and rifles.
