Description
The SA80 or L85 is a unique gun with a long history, a good name, and a great look, making it an icon of the British armed forces.
There have been a few Airsoft copies of the L85 over the years, but they haven't been made very often. With gas blowback rifles making a comeback, there was no gas blowback L85 until WE made theirs.
The WE-Tech replica has the larger charging handle that most people want and the same safety button as the original. It uses WE GBB M4 real cap magazines and shoots at around 330 fps or more.
Like a lot of newer GBB rifles, the system has a full bolt and an open chamber to make it as realistic as possible. So, it not only looks and feels good, but it also works well and shoots well.
We thought the noise it made when fired was the best thing about it. It has the best kick of any gun I've ever used.
It is about the same size and weight as the real steel version, and the pistol grip is perfectly balanced.
Because it has bullpup proportions and solid parts, you won't bump into things as you move around your event.
The fact that M4 magazines are available is also a big plus. We really like this because it looks a lot more like the real SA80 than any other electric copy.
This is a great weapon for anyone who likes the current British military rifle because it is powerful and has a strong kick.
As with all Gas Blow-Back weapons, how well they work depends on the temperature of the environment and how fast they are fired.
