The 8903A is a spring-powered ABS Tommy Gun replica.

The variant of the Thompson this seems to be based on looks to be a mix of the military model (solid lower handguard) with the "typewriter" or gang model barrel assembly. This, coupled with the rails, gives the weapon somewhat of a unique look.

The Real Thompson 1921 M1A1, commonly known as the "Tommy Gun," is a historic submachine gun that gained fame during the Prohibition era in the United States. Initially designed by General John T. Thompson, the M1A1 variant was adopted by the U.S. military during World War II. Known for its distinctive appearance, including a vertical foregrip and drum magazine, the Thompson M1A1 was prized for its reliability, high rate of fire, and stopping power. It was widely used by American troops and Allied forces, becoming an iconic symbol of both law enforcement and gangster-era weaponry.

This B.B. Gun Version is a very nice replica for such a low price; the weapon feels very nice in hand and is actually very nicely built - the body is solid, and the attachment points for the pistol grip, stock, and handguard all seem to have been well made, they have no wobble and the weapon generally feels sturdy and reliable in hand.

The bolt is very easy to pull back but locks very securely in place, meaning it is straightforward to know when you have pulled it back far enough to cock the weapon - the cocking mechanism also gives a lovely sound when cycled, which is always a bonus!

The magazine release is the same as found on the real Tommy Gun, as is the safety - this gives a nice bit of realism to the weapon and also means that the user can get used to how the Tommy Gun operates before buying
a more expensive IF/RIF for use as a primary in skirmishes.

The Mag catch is a simple bar, that when pulled upwards, releases hold on the magazine, and the safety is a simple rotating pin, which is VERY easy to use.

This weapon is ideally suited for backyard shooting, as it is surprisingly accurate for the price; this would make a great gun for shooting paper or card targets as it has the power to put a B.B. through a piece of cardboard allowing you to see where your shots have been hitting clearer than if the B.B. simply bounced off!

We offer two versions of the Vigor Thompson submachine gun replica. This 8903A model comes with a classic 400-round drum magazine, giving it a distinctive "Chicago gangster" look reminiscent of the Prohibition era. This version captures the iconic appearance often seen in historical crime films.

On the other hand, the 8904A model is equipped with a 40-round stick magazine, presenting a more authentic "WWII American military" look. This version reflects the style used by U.S. soldiers during World War II.

Both versions maintain the reliable performance and build quality that fans of the Thompson submachine gun expect.

The B.B. Rifle comes with a U.K. two-tone blue finish and mock wood furnishings, meaning you do not need a valid defence to buy it.
