Description
The Tokyo Marui VZ61 Scorpion is a compact electric-powered airsoft submachine gun (SMG), designed as a detailed replica of the original Czechoslovakian Vz.61 machine pistol. It features a folding stock that extends in a curved arc above the receiver, maintaining the unique silhouette of the real firearm, which earned it the nickname "Scorpion."
Constructed by Tokyo Marui, this AEP (Automatic Electric Pistol) type compact AEG is designed for both beginners and experienced players. Its small size and electric system make it suitable for CQB (Close Quarters Battle), indoor arenas, vehicle operations, and Mil-Sim events, where maneuverability and reliability are crucial.
The replica operates via battery power (7.2V EX-type battery, not included), with the battery housed in the foregrip. It supports three firing modes: safe, semi-automatic, and full-automatic, making it versatile in a range of gameplay scenarios. The adjustable hop-up system allows users to fine-tune accuracy based on BB weight and range.
This model features a 128mm inner barrel, contributing to its compact yet effective performance. The magazine holds 58 rounds, and the gun shoots at a muzzle velocity of approximately 240 FPS, making it safe and suitable for indoor skirmishes.
Externally, the VZ61 is finished in matte black and features a solid build quality consistent with Tokyo Marui standards. The folding stock can be deployed when additional support is needed or kept folded for more compact use in tight spaces.
