Following on from the well-known Lithium-Ion (LiIon) packs are Lithium-Ion-Polymer (LiPo) packs. The main benefit of LiPo is without a doubt the ratio of volume to size. Although packs are very small, they use electricity very efficiently, which means that there is a pack that will work with almost every AEG copy. There is no mental effect on them. Can be charged many times without having to be fully drained first. All types of batteries work better when they are charged often.
It is very important to remember not to drain a LiPo pack below 3 V per cell and not to charge it above 4.2 V per cell. LiPo packs also have a low rate of self-discharge, which is another benefit. A pack that isn't used will lose about 3 to 5 percent of its energy every month. It is important to keep an eye on a pack that hasn't been used for a long time because it could be discharged below the acceptable minimum value (3 V per cell), which could cause chemical reactions that damage the pack permanently or even start a fire. A LiPo pack that hasn't been used should be charged to about 70%.
If you use a LiPo pack the right way, it will last for about 500 to 700 rounds. The temperature range that LiPo packs can work in is important. LiPo cells work well at low temperatures, which is different from other batteries. However, they should be charged while they are still warm. To keep LiPo batteries in good shape, they need to be balanced while they're being charged with a service plug, which most LiPo packs have (a good LiPo charger has a balancer built in).
