This thing is a unit. The Snow Wolf SW-016 Barrett M107A1 AEG is one of those rare BB guns that’s as much a showpiece as it is a functional field weapon. If you’ve ever dreamt of bringing a piece of military kit that looks like it rolled off a .50 cal anti-material loadout but shoots 6mm plastic—this is it.

First off, yes—it’s big. Like, *drag-it-through-doorways-sideways* big. At 1450mm long and tipping the scales at around 6.7kg, this is not your lightweight CQB setup. But surprisingly? It's not as heavy as you'd think. Thanks to its CNC-machined aluminium upper and grooved outer barrel, Snow Wolf's managed to keep the weight manageable, especially for a platform of this size. Compared to some other overbuilt replicas in the airsoft sniper rifle category, this one doesn't feel like it's made of solid rebar.

The externals are where this airsoft gun flexes. Full metal upper—aluminium with clean machining—and a polymer lower that doesn’t feel cheap or creaky. The integrated buttstock and pistol grip are solid and ergonomic, giving you decent control despite the length. That cheek rest is adjustable, the rubber buttpad soaks up shoulder fatigue, and the 5 QD sling sockets (with 2 mounts included) are a lifesaver when you’re lugging this beast around the field.

Internally, you’re looking at a standard Version 2 gearbox, which is actually kind of brilliant. That means you can mod it to your heart’s content—spring swaps, tighter gears, upgraded motors—you name it. It's rare for something that looks like a heavy-hitter DMR to be so accessible for AEG tuning. Out of the box, you’re getting a pretty consistent ~380–400FPS, which makes it skirmish-ready for outdoor fields. The electric rifle platform gives it semi-auto operation, so it’s not just a wall-hanger—it’s field-ready and deadly accurate at range.

And here's a fun detail—the SW-016 has a working dummy bolt that racks when you cock it. Totally unnecessary. Totally awesome. Stuff like that just cranks the realism to 11. The adjustable hop-up is easy to access, and the long inner barrel (640mm) means this thing has no problem reaching out and tagging players beyond 60 metres. It’s not laser-beam accurate stock, but dial in your hop and it’ll do some serious work.

Up front, you've got four RIS rails running the length of the fore-end, so mounting accessories like optics, lasers, torches, or even that included folding bipod is straightforward. There's also a dummy PEQ box that acts as your battery housing—a nice touch that keeps the front end looking clean and aggressive without clunky wiring sticking out the sides. Note: battery and charger aren’t included, so grab a mini-type LiPo and charger if you don’t already have one.
