Bolt-Action Sniping Meets HPA Consistency – Take Your Long-Range Airsoft Game Further!

Description.

If you're serious about long-range airsoft and fancy something a little different from the usual spring-powered setup, the ROSSI M24 D.STORM Airsoft Sniper Rifle with Raccoon HPA Conversion Kit is worth a proper look. This package combines the rugged M24 D.STORM bolt-action platform with the Raccoon high-pressure air conversion system, giving you a highly customisable airsoft sniper rifle with adjustable power and consistent air delivery. It's a particularly interesting option for players who enjoy the deliberate, calculated style of airsoft sniping but want more control over their rifle's performance.

The ROSSI M24 D.STORM is a full-size airsoft rifle based around the familiar M24 sniper design. Unlike a conventional spring-powered BB Gun, the HPA-converted setup uses regulated compressed air to propel each BB. This removes much of the variation associated with a manually compressed spring system and allows the rifle's output to be adjusted through a suitable external regulator. That regulator isn't included, mind you, so you'll need the appropriate HPA equipment to complete the setup.

Rugged M24 Construction With a Comfortable Nylon Fibre Stock

Starting with the externals, the M24 D.STORM features a durable nylon fibre stock designed to cope with regular skirmish use. Nylon fibre is a sensible material for an airsoft sniper platform because it provides strength without the unnecessary weight of a full metal stock.

The traditional M24-style profile gives the rifle a purposeful appearance, while the ergonomic stock design provides a stable platform for supported shooting. Whether you're lying prone behind cover or waiting patiently for someone to wander into your sights, a comfortable stock makes a noticeable difference.

At the rear, there's a rubber-padded buttstock that sits comfortably against your shoulder. It's a simple feature, but one you'll appreciate during longer games when you're holding the rifle in position for extended periods.

The main body and outer barrel are constructed from metal, providing a solid foundation for the rifle's internal components. This combination of metal construction and reinforced polymer furniture gives the D.STORM the reassuring feel you'd expect from a dedicated airsoft sniper platform.

6.02mm Tightbore Inner Barrel for Consistent BB Flight

Inside the outer barrel sits a 6.02mm copper inner barrel. That's a tightbore design, meaning the internal diameter is slightly narrower than the standard 6.08mm barrels commonly found in more basic airsoft guns.

A quality tightbore barrel can help improve shot consistency when paired with clean, good-quality BBs and a properly adjusted hop-up. It isn't a magic wand for accuracy, of course. Your ammunition, hop setting and air pressure all play their part, but it's a useful starting point for a rifle designed around long-range performance.

The M24 also uses Tokyo Marui-compatible hop-up rubber, opening the door to compatible aftermarket replacements. The hop-up applies backspin to the BB, helping it maintain a flatter flight path over distance. Getting this adjustment right is particularly important on an airsoft sniper rifle, where the first shot often matters more than anything else.

Raccoon HPA Conversion Kit – Adjustable Air-Powered Performance

Now for the interesting bit. The included Raccoon HPA Conversion Kit (RHS001) replaces the conventional spring-powered firing arrangement with a high-pressure air system.

Rather than relying on a heavy spring to generate the force needed for each shot, the converted rifle uses compressed air supplied through an external HPA setup. This allows you to adjust the rifle's output through a compatible regulator and helps maintain consistent performance between shots.

The conversion kit features CNC-machined aluminium components, including the piston, cylinder head and spring guide. These parts are designed to work together within the HPA system, providing a durable internal arrangement with controlled air delivery.

One major advantage of HPA is the ability to fine-tune your power output. The system has a stated potential of up to 560 FPS, although actual performance depends on the regulator settings, BB weight and overall configuration.

That doesn't mean you should crank everything up and hope for the best. Many UK airsoft sites operate a 500 FPS limit for bolt-action sniper rifles using 0.20g BBs, often with a minimum engagement distance. Always check your site's specific joule limits and chrono requirements before playing.

4mm Airline and Foster Connection

The Raccoon conversion kit comes with a 4mm airline and an 8mm Foster fitting for connection to compatible HPA equipment.

You'll need a suitable compressed-air tank, regulator and any necessary connecting equipment to operate the converted rifle. The external regulator is not supplied with this package.

Once correctly installed and configured, the HPA system offers the flexibility to adjust your setup for different playing conditions. It's particularly useful for experienced airsofters who want consistent output without having to change springs every time they need to alter their rifle's power.

The Raccoon system is also designed for compatibility with other M40-series sniper platforms, although it's always worth checking individual model compatibility before transferring components between rifles.

20-Round Magazine and Practical Skirmish Performance

The ROSSI M24 D.STORM includes a 20-round magazine, giving you a sensible ammunition capacity for a dedicated sniper rifle. Twenty BBs might not sound like much compared with an electric assault rifle, but that's rather missing the point of airsoft sniping.

This is a platform built around careful positioning, patience and well-placed shots rather than throwing hundreds of BBs downrange. The HPA conversion complements that approach by focusing on consistent air delivery and adjustable performance.

For players moving away from a traditional spring sniper, the reduced reliance on heavy spring compression is another attractive feature. You still get the familiar bolt-action sniper experience, but with a different method of powering each shot.
