The R-Series is a full-metal, Gas-Blowback pistol replica brought to you by RAVEN.

This is a flashy, exciting replica of the Sig Sauer P226. With full metal construction and a gold finish, this pistol is a truly prestigious airsoft gun. This pistol is favourited by many special forces from around the world, including the SAS and Navy SEALS, due to its reliability, compact design and ergonomic controls.

The pistol slide is made of full metal painted gold giving it a realistic weight and strong build. The slide has integrated ridged grips at the rear to make loading the first round very easy and reliable. The sights on the slide are fibre optic V-notch sights that allow a good sight picture in low light and overall greater accuracy when shooting. The slide is very ergonomic and gives good contrast against the outer barrel. The outer barrel is black metal and includes the shell-ejecting dust cover port, which sits nicely on the slide, making the gold on the pistol really stand out.

The pistol's frame is also full metal painted gold and sits all of the controls for this pistol comfortably in well-positioned spaces. The controls are black metal that really stands out on the gun and makes them very sturdy and long-lasting. The pistol controls feature grip ridges on the take-down pin slide release and dop safe hammer lever to make it very easy and more reliable if you are wearing gloves or your hands are wet. The magazine release is black metal and has texture to improve the reliability of the reload. The pistol's grip is made of black polymer and has custom texturing to ensure the gun won't slip out of the user's hand. On the grip, there is the model number inscribed 'R226', just like the real steal pistol. The drop-safe feature of this pistol would reduce the chance of the pistol discharging if it were dropped. The lever is located just above the magazine release and will move the hammer forward once charged, making the pull force much higher.

This model features a BDS red dot sight that gives a clear sight window to maximise the user's accuracy and aid in maintaining the pistol's sight after each shot. The sight fits onto the top slide and has tools to remove or add a different sight to the pistol.

The R226 is full metal construction. RAVENs experience with other GBB models ensures first-class gas efficiency, easily emptying the standard 20R magazine when unloading downrange. Customers have the option of R226s with or without the 20mm rail, allowing for the attachment of a range of accessories such as torches or laser units. All furniture is functional including the de-cocking lever for returning the hammer to a safe position without discharge.
