Its fixed 4x magnification enlarges the sight picture four times, while the 32mm objective lens provides a useful balance between light gathering and keeping the optic relatively compact. On an outdoor airsoft gun, particularly a carbine or DMR-style setup, that magnification can make it easier to identify partially concealed players and pick a precise aiming point at medium range.
