Description

This is an Airsoft version of the M79 grenade launcher from nuprol. The real M79 had many nicknames among troops such as "the Thumper" "Thump-Gun", "Bloop Tube", "Big Ed", "Blooper" and the "Can Cannon" in reference to the grenade shell size. it was used in the first Vietnam war by American forces, between 1953-1960, M79 grenade launcher was designed to be a more portable, replacement for the traditional form of mortar. n recent times this weapon has mostly been replaced by the M203 that mounts below the barrel of an M4 rifle but despite this, the M79 is still occasionally used in the field, principally by U.S. special operations forces (SOF).

The Nuprol N79 Airsoft grenade launcher is a is a single-shot, shoulder-fired, break-action grenade launcher that fires a 40mm moscart grenade shell that you can buy here. we sell the shells in 72 to 120 round versions for this launcher, when the grenade shell you have is filled with bb pellets you then fill the grenade shell with airsoft green gas, put the grenade in the launcher and when you pull the trigger it fires all of the bbs out in one go showering your enemy.

This is the long version of the M79 but we also sell the sawn off version also know as the Pirate Gun found here.

The N79 is built soundly and features heavy-duty construction with a Full metal barrel/body with real wood hand-grip. It has a rubber pad joined to the shoulder stock to make it more supportive and comfortable when aiming.

This airsoft gun is a highly accurate replica, with branding the same as the real thing on the bottom of the launcher. It also preserves many features seen on the real weapon, for example, the Trigger guard can be rotated to the left or to the right side by pushing the detent on the front, allowing users with thick gloves to easy access to the trigger.

Nurpol have made some great hardware here allowing Airsofters to get their fingers on a hugely iconic weapon. This M79 grenade launcher is excellent for any Airsoft Skirmishers who want something a little offbeat to add to their armoury, or for any Vietnam reenactors, doing a modern Special Forces Loadout.
