Description.

The Nuprol 1300mAh 7.4V 20C LiPo Stick Battery with Deans is a compact power source for compatible airsoft AEGs, offering a useful balance between battery size, runtime and electrical performance. This is a 2S 7.4V LiPo pack with a 1300mAh capacity and 9.62Wh energy rating, while its 20C continuous discharge rating equates to a maximum continuous current of 26A. For brief periods it is rated at 40C, or up to 52A burst current. In practical skirmish terms, that makes it a good match for many standard and lightly upgraded AEG setups where responsive semi-auto cycling is wanted without jumping to the more aggressive characteristics of an 11.1V pack.

The slim 13 x 23 x 128mm stick configuration is designed to fit many rear-stock and similar narrow battery compartments, although it's always worth measuring the available space in your airsoft gun before ordering – battery compartments have an irritating habit of being a few millimetres smaller than expected. At just 95g, it adds very little unnecessary weight. A Deans, also known as a T-Connector, is fitted instead of the older Mini-Tamiya style connection; Deans connectors are popular with airsofters because their lower-resistance design can provide more efficient current transfer. AWG16 wiring handles the main power connection, while a separate JST-XH balance lead allows the two LiPo cells to be correctly monitored and balanced by a suitable charger.

On the field, a 7.4V LiPo is a sensible everyday option for players who want consistent gearbox cycling and crisp trigger response without chasing maximum rate of fire. Battery choice does depend on the replica, motor, spring, MOSFET and gearbox setup, so higher voltage isn't automatically better. Always check your AEG manufacturer's recommendations before use. LiPo packs also require more care than old-school NiMH batteries: use a LiPo-compatible balance charger, never leave the pack unattended while charging, and stop using it immediately if it becomes swollen, damaged or unusually hot. Stored correctly at an appropriate storage charge, this Nuprol stick battery makes a compact and practical addition to an airsofter's field kit.

LiPo Safety: Always charge this battery with a LiPo-compatible balance charger on a non-flammable surface, preferably inside a suitable fire-retardant LiPo charging bag. Never leave a charging battery unattended. Do not short-circuit, puncture, crush, over-discharge or expose the pack to excessive heat or water. Remove it from your airsoft gun when not in use and store it partially charged in a cool, dry location. Discontinue use immediately if the battery becomes swollen, excessively hot or physically damaged. Under-18s should use and charge LiPo batteries with adult supervision.
