Description.
Bringing Magpul’s legendary polymer strength and functional design to the rugged AK platform, the Magpul MOE AK Stock in Flat Dark Earth is a game-changer for those looking to modernise their rifle without overcomplicating it. Compatible with most stamped receiver AK-47, AKM, and AK-74 rifles, this fixed stock offers robust performance in a lightweight package, giving you solid recoil control and a streamlined profile that doesn’t snag when moving through cover or CQB spaces.
This stock keeps things clean and compact, but it’s far from barebones. Inside is a smartly designed storage compartment—perfect for tucking away your factory AK cleaning kit or field tools. The rubber butt-pad gives you a positive shoulder lock, while also absorbing shock and keeping your rifle seated right where you want it during rapid transitions. The cheek weld strikes a nice balance between slim and comfortable, and for those running optics, snap-on cheek risers (sold separately) are available to dial in your sight picture.
Sling compatibility is on point too: the rear fixed loop fits 1.25" slings, and the stock can accept Magpul's optional QD Sling Mount Kits (Type 1 or 2). It’s a stock built to adapt without adding unnecessary bulk. Just be aware—AKs come with their quirks, so minor fitting may be needed depending on your rifle. It’s not compatible with milled receivers, Yugo-pattern rifles, or Norinco MAK-90s due to trunnion differences.
