Description

This G&G Armament Cobalt Rifle (AEG) is a licenced copy of the Cobalt Kinetics TEAM 5.56x45mm AR platform rifle. This rifle was made as a competition gun to improve times by a lot by cutting the time it takes to operate the rifle with a system called CARS.

The Competitive Shooting scene has seen 21 podium places and two world titles with this system.

The Airsoft Replica is made to be an exact copy of the system. It has a spring-loaded flap on the magazine that opens when the last BB is fired, telling you to put in a new magazine and saving you precious seconds.

Once the magazine has been pulled out, the Gearbox will stop turning. If a magazine is found in the magwell, the gun will keep firing.

This system can be turned off with a small toggle switch on the top of the magazine. You can also use standard Airsoft M4 magazines like you would in any other Airsoft gun, but CARS compatible magazines are needed for the Auto-Drop Function to work.

The BAMF Airsoft Electric Gun is built differently than any other Airsoft Gun you have seen. Most of the outside parts are made of CNC-machined aluminium, and the Lower Receiver and Stock are made of one piece.

This big chunk of aluminium weighs more than 3.6 kg, which makes it feel like the real thing and gives you confidence in the quality of what's inside.

The outside has the same Unique Muzzle Brake that is on the real thing, and it is finished with the same stylish Cobalt Blue trim that is on the Buffer Tube.

The Rifle looks fierce from top to bottom, and it is not only a pleasure to look at but also to hold. The M-LOK Railed Handguard gives the gun a stable place to rest, and it can be used with any M-LOK compatible accessories or with 20mm RIS accessories with the help of the short 20mm Rail Pieces.

With a 20mm Railed Receiver, you can place any sights and scopes that are compatible with it.

The magazine well on the receiver is flared to make it easier to place the magazine, and the controls can be used by either hand, making this platform great for left-handed players.

Both sides of the copy can be used to move the Magazine Release, Fire Selector, and Charging Handle. The 45-degree shape of the Fire Selector means that you don't have to move as much to change Fire Modes, which again speeds up your response time to targets.

The Pistol Grip has an ergonomic design that makes it easy to hold for long amounts of time and gives you easy, unrestricted access to the Microswitch Trigger.

The design of the microswitch makes the trigger last longer and makes it much faster to respond.

Your battery will be in the Stock. To get to the Stock, take the Allen Bolt off the Butt Pad and slide it off the Buffer Tube.

The Buffer Tube has a hole that makes it easy to connect batteries inside, and the end cap can be unscrewed if you need even more access.

Inside the Buffer Tube is a Mini Tamiya connector that will work with most types of 7.4v Stick LiPo Batteries.

The G&G G2 Gearbox is the heart of this Airsoft Gun. It has a lot of great features right out of the box and raises the bar for what you can expect from your Airsoft Gear.

The main features of the G2 Gearbox are a Quick Change Spring that lets you change the Main Spring without taking the gearbox apart, a 50% smaller MOSFET that still works the same, a built-in speaker for audible warnings and troubleshooting (such as warnings for low voltage and motor jams), and a gearbox that is 70% stronger thanks to a redesign.

Air Seal Improvements from a Double O-Ring Air Nozzle and Cylinder Head, a redesigned Bevel Gear for better engagement, the "No Mag, No Fire" system, and a working Mock Bolt Release (which will hold the Mock Bolt to the rear for easier HOP changes) are some of the other features of this design.

The HOP is a Rotary Adjustment type, and you can use it to give your BBs backspin as they leave the barrel. This should improve range and precision when the right settings and BB weight are used together. To get to the HOP, just pull back on the Charging Handle to lock the Mock Bolt open and press the Bolt Release to close it again.

The Microswitch Trigger can be easily changed on the go to different fire modes, like 3rd or 5rd burst, without stopping to change the settings. To use 3rd Burst instead of Full Auto, hold the Trigger down in Semi for 10 seconds until you hear a warning.

To use 5rnd Burst instead of Full Auto, move the Fire Selector from Semi to Auto and back again five times, or until you hear a warning.

Before G&G, it was unheard of for an Airsoft Gun to have this many features right out of the box. However, they have been able to push the limits of what can be expected from an Airsoft Electric Gun right out of the box.

Included in the box is a 90-round mid-capacity magazine that works with CARS (auto-ejecting) and needs a Speedloader (Tube Speedloader is included) to load.

There is also a Cleaning/Unjamming Rod and a User Manual along with the copy.

Instructions

To activate 3 rounds Burst, follow these steps:
Ensure the gun is clear, the magazine is removed, and area is safe
Move the Fire Selector to the 'Semi' position
Hold the Trigger for 10 seconds
Await audible beep
Repeat the process to reverse

To activate 5 rounds Burst, follow these steps:
Ensure the gun is clear, the magazine is removed, and area is safe
Move the Fire Selector to the 'Semi' position
Repeatedly move the Fire Selector between 'Semi' and 'Auto'
Await audible beep
Repeat the process to reverse
