Description.
The FMA Tactical Lens Protector Folding Cover TB1039-DE provides a simple sacrificial barrier in front of your scope or red dot sight, helping protect the optic from direct BB impacts during an airsoft skirmish. It's one of those small loadout additions that makes a lot of sense once you've invested in a decent sight; an exposed optic lens can take an unfortunate hit when you're peeking through doorways, holding a tight angle or trading shots through woodland. Position the protector ahead of your optic and the replaceable lens takes the punishment rather than the glass on your red dot or scope.
The folding design means the protector can be flipped out of the sight picture when you don't need it, while the supplied two spare lenses give you replacements should a protector become heavily marked or damaged in play. No lens protector should be considered indestructible – BB energy and engagement distance vary considerably between sites – but using a replaceable shield is a sensible precaution on an airsoft gun fitted with an optic. Finished in Tan, the FMA TB1039-DE also sits neatly alongside DE, FDE and other earth-tone accessories without looking conspicuously out of place.
