EMG / Salient Arms International™ 2011 DS Pistol (5.1 / Aluminum)
There are a lot of competitive pistols in the style of 2011 on the market. Even though many of them are great for competition, they aren't as tough or reliable as a job or personal defence gun. Salient Arms saw a need in the market and was already known for making tough, high-performance weapons. They started making a double stack 1911 that would do well at the range and could also be used to protect your home or life in the field. The Salient Arms DS 2011 gun is the result of many years of work. Precision-machined with the idea that form should follow function in mind, the SAI DS was made to meet the needs of seriously shooting fans. With aggressive front and rear slide serrations, milled lightning cuts on both sides of the slide, and intense competition style sights, it's clear that the SAI DS was made by shooters for shooters. When Salient Arms made the DS, they broke all the rules for 2011-style pistols, starting from scratch and leaving old ways of doing things behind. The result is a pistol that works in the worst conditions and under the most stress, and whose service you can stake your life on.
EMG and Salient Arms have worked together for longer, and they are happy to present the Salient Arms x EMG DS 2011 collaboration Airsoft Training pistol. The EMG SAI DS 2011 is carefully made with an attention to detail. It is CNC machined from an aluminium alloy and has all the features you'd expect from a Salient Arms pistol, such as a titanium nitride style barrel, competition style sights with a fibre optic front insert, an ambidextrous safety, and, of course, stamped Salient Arms International rollmarks.
