Description.

The Noveske x EMG N4 Ghetto Blaster 9 MWS Gen3 is a compact Rifle that takes the familiar AR platform and gives it a much more distinctive personality. Made by Double Eagle under EMG's Noveske licensing, the G102B TAN combines a short front end, retractable PDW stock and FDE/tan finish with a gas blowback system based around the popular MWS architecture. If you want an airsoft gun that feels lively in the hands rather than simply sending BBs downrange, this one makes a lot of sense.

At the front, you get a compact M-LOK handguard. It's slim enough to wrap your hand around comfortably, while the M-LOK slots give you plenty of room for adding suitable grips, lights and other accessories without covering the whole thing in unnecessary rail. The short configuration also makes this gas blowback airsoft assault rifle particularly handy around buildings and barricades. At only 600mm long, it doesn't feel like you're trying to steer a broom handle through a doorway.

The outer construction mixes aluminium, steel and ABS components, with the metal receiver giving the N4 the solid feel you'd expect from a premium GBBR. That's a realistic-ish capacity compared with the big magazines commonly used in electric guns, so you'll find yourself thinking about shots rather than simply leaning on the trigger. Both single-shot and automatic firing modes are provided. The combination of a short body and responsive gas action should be particularly enjoyable in CQB, although the adjustable hop-up and 229mm inner barrel mean the N4 isn't confined to indoor work.

That inner barrel has a 6.03mm bore. Once the hop is adjusted for your chosen ammunition, you've got a useful setup for heavier airsoft BBs as well as standard weights. The supplied technical specification lists a muzzle velocity of approximately 350 FPS using 0.20g BBs and muzzle energy of 1.14 joules. Actual output can vary with gas pressure, ambient temperature, magazine temperature and BB weight, as you'd expect from any gas powered airsoft rifle, so always chrono it using your site's required method before play.

One detail worth knowing before it lands on your doorstep: sights are not included. That's not necessarily a bad thing on a build like this, because most players will fit their preferred optic or iron sights anyway. Just remember to budget for them if you don't already have something suitable sitting in the parts box.

Overall, the Double Eagle G102B is aimed at the airsofter who wants the realism and feedback of a GBBR in a genuinely compact package.
