Descriptions

The AKM and AK47 are probably the most famous assault rifles in the world. Their rich history and iconic look make it one of the most talked about and revered gun ever. The rifles are known to be very basic and simple to use; this is due to them being designed to be cheap and easy to maintain in the field with common parts.

This AKM from E&L is made of full metal and real wood, making it incredibly close to the real steal counterpart. Although, the fact that this was made in a factory that manufactures real firearms and that the external elements of this replica will have come from the same line that goes onto the real steel weapons completely changes the game. This specific airsoft gun is modelled off the AKM series from the Kalashnikov factory. This looks the same and has the same system inside as an AK47 besides the trigger assembly. 

The barrel, foresight, gas block and mock cleaning tool are all metal making the gun feel very authentic. The handguard and dust cover is made of real wood and feels great to hold, and are comfortable enough to be used all day. The upper and lower receiver is also full metal and is extremely durable. The grip is made from sturdy polymer with textured sides, which give a significant amount of grasp and will nicely prevent slipping when in use. The stock is real wood with a metal shoulder butt plate which makes it very strong and stable when shouldered. 

The function of this gun is relatively simple, with very easy-to-use controls. On the right side of the rifle, there is the famous fire selector switch, which can be placed in three different positions, up for safety, middle for semi-automatic, and to the bottom for fully automatic. The magazine is metal and fits into the bottom receiver of the rifle. Putting the magazine in can be tricky at first as you need to latch the front of the magazine with the front of the magazine well and pull the magazine up and back into the magazine well until you hear a click. To release the magazine, simply hold the magazine and, using your thumb click the magazine release bar out, which can be found on the front of the trigger guard. Sling points can be found at the rear of the gun on the bottom of the stock and on the right side in front of the handguard. The sights on the rifle are full metal adjustable sights at the rear of the dust cover that can be used by simply pinching the two buttons on either side and pushing the sight forward or backwards, depending on the desired distance. The sight can be adjusted to 10 settings.

The battery compartment is in the top receiver and can be accessed by pushing the button at the back of the top cover and sliding the top cover off; inside, there will be space and the connector for your battery. This rifle is hop-up adjustable, and this can be done by opening the chamber and sliding the bar forward and backwards. To access the camber, simply pull back on the lever on the right side of the gun.

Overall, this replica is incredibly close to the actual firearm and has features that really show how authentic it that.

The V3 gearbox has a quick spring change system and a MOSFET system. The compact MOSFET system in the Essencial series replicas provides a better trigger response, ROF and improves the operation of the system even with more powerful springs and batteries. The manufacturer tested the circuit on a 13.5V LiPo battery and an M150 spring
