SKIRMISH GRADE WEAPON (USES STANAG MAGAZINES)

DESCRIPTION: 

Designed by Knights Armament, this weapon is indented to be used  in place of an SMG, where
the range of an SMG is not sufficient; the real weapon uses what is in essence, a shortened M16
lower receiver - the airsoft version mirrors this as close as possible while still containing a full size
V2 gearbox. The real weapon does not use normal STANAG magazines, but for the sake of
convenience, the airsoft version will take most normal M4/16 Magazines.
The upper receiver is so different to a normal AR rifle as it does not use a buffer tube - this means that
the operation of the rifle is slightly different internally, and externally - it basically allows for a folding
stock that would not be possible on an M4/16 style rifle.
The upper receiver comes as one piece and does not use a delta ring to secure the RIS section.
(the  lower from this weapon MAY be compatible with uppers from other weapons, but this is not 100%
confirmed.)

This airsoft rifle is designed to be lightweight and compact, as the front handguard is not large enough
to store a battery, included in the box is a dummy PEQ to allow you to store your battery, also included
is a free vertigrip which while not the most expensive quality plastic, feels perfectly stable when attached.
Generally speaking, the body of the rifle is of a very nice quality polymer - it does not wobble around at
all and the stock will lock into place perfectly, this makes an IDEAL rifle for CQB situations as it will
perform just as well as a middle of the range M4  but is lighter and more compact than most M4 Rifles.

ABS plastic is used to make the BY-808 replica. One part is made up of the upper half of the body, the RIS rail, and the handguard. Additionally, it has mounting rails for RIS.

The dimensions, weight, and most importantly versatility of this model set it apart from other PDW replicas (Personal Defense Weapon - rifles/submachine guns in the shortest and lightest versions designed for helicopter crews, tanks, and drivers as a defence weapon that can also shoot in AUTO mode). Both left- and right-handed users are able to use it. The replica has a so-called "multi magazine catch" - an ambidextrous magazine release - as well as an ambidextrous fire mode selector that allows you to quickly change the shooting mode by using the thumb or index finger of any hand. Attachment points for a QD sling were positioned on the replica body and stock.

The replica has a collapsible stock that allows the user to shorten the replica to the bare minimum (450 mm). The manufacturer installed folding "flip up" type sights on the top of the receiver, which are functional and solid, and are made with great attention to detail. By pulling back the charging handle, we can easily access the hop-up chamber.

The replica battery can be placed in the set's dummy type PEQ battery box, and the replica cables can be pulled from the RIS rail.

The replica comes with a metal V2 gearbox and a polymer Hi-Cap magazine with a capacity of about 200 BBs.
