DESCRIPTION
This modern take on the VSR10 is an excellent iteration on the reliable rifle that has been used for decades due to it’s accurate and straightforward design. This rifle has several features that make it perfect for any collection as a sniper rifle. The rifle has a tan colour scheme to ensure it will blend in to desert terrain seen it theatres such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
Its upper receiver is made of tan metal and consists of the barrel and bolt assembly. The barrel is metal making it sturdy and will withstand the rigors of Skirmish. The rifle has a 20mm picatinny rail which will be able to hold a variety of scopes to allow for a magnified sight to ensure the rifle is accurate and give a stable sight picture. The bolt assembly consists of the bolt, the bolt handle, and the safety switch. The bolt is easy to pull back and allows for an easy and reliable reload. The system is a bolt action which requires the bolt to be charged each shot. The bolt handle is metal and is in the standard VSR10 textured handle which ensures an excellent and comfortable pull.
The body of the rifle is made of tan polymer and makes the rifle sturdy, solid and modern much like the real steel scout rifle. It has the same design of the VSR10 which makes it full length integrated stock and grip. the stock as a rubber butt plate that is adjustable and textured to give a nonslip comfortable shoulder rest point to make the ensure the rifle sits naturally to the target which is a key principle of marksman ship. The grip is a comfortable sleek design that makes it easy to hold all day. This is able to be held in a variety of positions from prone to standing. The fore end of the body of the rifle gives an excellent grip for the front hand to allow a stable firing position.
