The CM517 one of a new series of Starter Skirmisher rifles one of the most popular Chinese manufacturers in the airsoft world called CYMA.

The rifle has some of the stuff as some other guns costing much more offer like a metal gearbox and other mechanical parts etc., but at a low price to suit airsoft beginners.

The Cyma CM517 is based on the most well-known platform of rifles in the world the Colt M4, and this model is a true full 1:1 scale authentic replica of the real thing. The M4 is broadly used by the United States Armed Forces and the United States Marine Corps combat units as the primary infantry weapon. The M4 is also capable of mounting M203 and M320 grenade launchers to it.

On this model, you get a decent quality polymer receiver, with almost no flex, and a metal gearbox with Hi-torque motor. On the side of the bb gun you have the charging handle, if you pull this back, it lets you get to the hop up located under the dust cover. The fire selector is on the side of the gun near the trigger (the same as the real thing). This model has a navy stock that is adjustable, and a front sight, it also an adjustable sight, that can be removed.

There are sling mount loops on the front and rear of the bb gun, and the hand-guard has four RIS rails on it for you to attach any aftermarket accessories you wish to get. the bb gun has good accuracy and fire great over a more extended range.

The gun's magazine is a hi-cap version holding around 300 bb pellets. This mag is the standard type m4 mag meaning that a standard m4 mag from any other M4 will fit this gun, this is good if you already have some or if you go to a game you could borrow of from someone if you get stuck. It also means you can get spares just about anywhere. There is a flip up front, and rear sights on this version and the top rail is long enough to take a telescopic scope if you wanted it to. The rifle also has an adjustable tactical stock on it, to fit almost any users size.

We have imported this directly from the cyma factory to be made to the UK spec especially for bbguns4less, and we don't sell it to any other airsoft or bb gun companies.

The difference with this is the guns spring is the correct power to comply with the new UK law, so you won't have to get this gun downgraded. Also, the two-tone colour is made of blue plastic and not painted like every other company meaning the paint won't scratch off after using it. And lastly, it comes with a Rhos UK Mains Charger and rechargeable battery pack (with others you will get an EU Charger meaning you will need to buy an adapter.)

The CYMA CM517 performs great in the field with a good rate of fire, range, power and accuracy, that is ample enough to keep up with much more expensive guns, and with the metal gearbox, it's also going to be pretty reliable. perfect for starters of experienced players. we have sold loads of this rifle with basicly zero returns making it one of the most reliable airsoft guns we sell.
