Description

The Sportline Series from ASG primarily appeals to beginners in the airsoft world. But it can also be used as a backup rifle by professional players. In addition to the fully licensed Armalite M15A4 airsoft rifle, a 9.6V battery with a charger is also included. Thanks to this scope, only 6mm BB Pellets have to be purchased for the first use. 

The reliable, electric and semi-automatic S-AEG is used as the firing drive. Due to the appropriate shooting power of approx. 1.1 joules, the airsoft rifle can be used on playing fields immediately out of the box.

Armalite is an American edged weapon manufacturer best known for inventing the world-renowned AR-10 and AR-15 platforms.

A very short and one-piece aluminum outer barrel of approx. 5.1 inches with a removable and aggressive Tri-Lug Flash-Hider made of polymer composite ensures stability in this ASG Sportline model, manufactured by Classic Army. 

Above the outer barrel is a modern URX-style rail system in the 5.1 inch (approx. 130 mm) version made of composite plastic. 

In addition to standard 21 mm mounting rails, there are also two LOCK-compatible rails. A QD carrying strap holder can also be mounted on the left and right (not included). 

The rail above is a standard 21mm version with a length of approx. 130mm. Because the front system fits snugly against the main body, the overhead rail is about 130mm longer - ideal for mounting a sight or a sight combo from the aftermarket. 

A height-adjustable flip-up front visor made of metal is already attached. All parts of the front system are custom-made and firmly mounted. 

The high-quality coating of the metal parts also gives an impression that is true to the original.

In order to keep the costs affordable for beginners, the two-piece main housing is made of durable polymer composite plastic. The two halves of the case are made to fit very precisely and sit firmly on top of each other. Despite the plastic, the case has a harmonious surface finish and is, therefore almost not visually recognizable as plastic.

Due to the Armalite license, all logos and lettering are lasered cleanly on the main body and make the rifle even more true to the original. Cast are similar to the real model, the fire selector lever inscriptions. A flip-up visor made of aluminum is already factory-mounted on the 21mm rail incorporated in the upper housing. This can be adjusted to the side or simply folded away or removed when not in use. 

In addition, it has two reticles. Various other target devices from the accessories range can also be mounted on the 21mm rail. The well-formed handle has a non-slip structure and is made of nylon-reinforced plastic. 

Interesting is the quick opening mechanism, which allows the drive motor to be removed without tools.

A new PDW-style sliding stock is used at the rear of the URX-SBR. The shaft can be adjusted in length and offers two locking points. The two lateral guide tubes made of steel ensure a very high level of stability. 

The butt plate with a non-slip structure on the back is made entirely of aluminium. Only the battery compartment and the housing connection are made of composite plastic. 

The battery compartment is opened by pulling down the battery cover at the rear end. The enclosed 9.6V NiMH twin-type battery or similarly sized 7.4V / 11.1V LiPo stock batteries can be inserted into the battery compartment (see accessories). The gun cable plugs directly into a standard Mini-Tam battery connector.

Inside is a Reinforced Version 2 metal gearbox in 9mm design. The built-in MosFet unit in connection with the electronic trigger (ECS - Digital Trigger Unit*) is particularly interesting. These two components ensure a cleaner and more reliable firing action. At the same time, an automatic voltage warning for LiPo batteries is also included. 

The connection between MosFet and electric trigger is particularly interesting since the cooperation of the two components can result in fewer or no gearbox jams. But also the remaining parts inside the gearbox are up to date. Stable bearings and a steel gear set are installed in the torque-up version.  

All other internals are sturdily manufactured to reliably handle the shot performance of up to 1.1. A torque-up long-type motor and high-quality silver cable are also part of the system components, which, in conjunction with the 9.6V battery, ensure a fast firing sequence. 

The gearbox is rounded off by a "Quick-Spring-Release" - spring quick-change system. In order to get more precision compared to many other manufacturers, a 6.03 mm Precision inner barrel is also installed ex works.

As with almost all high-quality S-AEG rifles, this rifle also has an adjustable hop-up system. 

It is a modern, one-piece hop-up unit with a drum-type dial. As with all other M4 / M16 airsoft replicas, the unit is located under the deco sleeve ejection window. To adjust, simply pull the clamping lever.

All TM compatible M4 / M16 magazines can be used (e.g. ASG, Classic Army, Tokyo Marui, Star, Real Sword, etc.).

Only 6mm BB pellets are required for operation Everything else is already included in the set.
