"The battle rifle that defined an era – now reborn for the Airsoft battlefield."

Description.

Widely hailed as one of the most significant rifles of the 20th century, the M1 Garand wasn’t just a weapon—it was a symbol of American grit. Now, A&K’s faithful Airsoft AEG replica brings this historic rifle to life with authentic styling and skirmish-capable performance. Built with a full metal construction and dressed in beautifully stained real wood, this is a rifle that will appeal to both WW2 reenactors and seasoned players seeking an iconic retro platform. If you're hunting for a historically inspired electric rifle that looks and feels like it belongs in a museum—but shoots like it belongs on the field—this M1 Garand deserves a closer look.

Physically, the A&K M1 Garand is stunning. At 1120mm in length and weighing in at 3.6kg, it captures the bulk and balance of the original. The real wood stock, heatshield, and handguard aren’t just for show—they offer a deep, natural finish with a classic grain that far surpasses the synthetic look of most modern airsoft rifles. From the stacking swivel and mock bayonet lug to the finely milled aperture sights, every detail sings of 1940s design. Even the chequered alloy butt plate serves a purpose, offering wet-weather grip and hiding the rear-wired battery compartment beneath a discreet access door.

Internally, A&K have outfitted the Garand with a version 7 gearbox—a design shared with Tokyo Marui M14s—housing 18:1 steel gears on 6mm bushings. A quick-change spring system allows you to tweak power levels without cracking open the gearbox. Out of the box, it chronos at around 400 FPS, making it best suited for outdoor skirmishes or as a DMR-style platform (local field limits permitting). A 6.05mm tightbore inner barrel measuring 445mm ensures respectable accuracy, particularly when paired with the rotary-style hop-up, easily accessed by pulling back the charging handle—another satisfying nod to the original’s manual of arms.

Despite its WWII heritage, the A&K Garand isn’t locked in the past. Unlike the real steel which used 8-round en-bloc clips, this airsoft gun features a cleverly hidden 20-round detachable magazine, inserted from below and released by a button disguised as the bolt catch. Yes, 20 rounds isn’t a high-cap loadout by modern standards, but for those running realism-based loadouts or support roles, it fits the bill. And for the purists—no, there’s no ping when it runs dry—but the iconic feel is still very much intact.

With only semi and full-auto modes selectable from the left of the receiver, it provides flexibility depending on how you want to run it. While most Garand fans will keep it on semi, the full-auto capability can be handy in more intense field situations. Iron sights are fully adjustable for windage and elevation via tactile drums, designed after the U.S. Army’s precision-first shooting doctrine. It’s a system lifted directly from the pre-M14 era and is shockingly effective even by today’s standards. This is not your average airsoft assault rifle; it's a statement piece that happens to shoot very well.

The A&K M1 Garand isn’t for everyone. It’s not meant to clear rooms or sling BBs at 25 RPS. But for the collector, the reenactor, or the airsofter who values historical immersion, it’s a deeply satisfying platform. The weight, the feel, and the controls are all rooted in one of the greatest military rifles ever made. Whether you’re fielding it in a Normandy-themed event or hanging it above your workbench, this AEG demands respect—and earns it. If you do spot this replica listed for less elsewhere, make use of our price match promise and we’ll not only match it—we’ll beat it.

Other Great Features are,

– Semi and full-auto fire modes via selector
– Full metal trigger group and receiver
– Functional safety integrated into the trigger guard
