DESCRIPTION:
Here we have WE's P226-R pistol, this is one of WE's newer range of GBB pistols, so naturally the quality of this thing
is incredible - the weapon features an integrated rail to the lower front section that will allow for the addition of lasers,
lights, or even a SOCOM kit if you desire. The slide features a ridged rear section that helps you to grip it when cocking
the weapon, and is built to the same standard as the rest of the WE high-end line.
The weapon field strips in a similar manor to most GBB pistols - the slide comes off once a pin has been "unlocked" at
the fore-end of the weapon - this then allows you to access the recoil spring, hop up, and inner workings to be modified
or lubricated as you so wish.
the trigger is a double action - meaning you can shoot the weapon without first cocking the slide if you wish - once the
first shot has been fired the blowback action will then cock the hammer for you with each shot meaning the trigger pull
will be considerably easier. The slide catch functions fully, as does the safely catch meaning this is a very realistic and
true to the original replica.
As the slide is removable it can be swapped out for something lighter for better gas economy and for more of a kick on
a lower power gas, if you require, and the recoil spring is also removable allowing for you to either cut it, or replace it
if you ever feel the need to do so.
As with all the newer WE weapons, the build quality on this is really beyond anything they have produced so far - there
are no seams visible on any of the moulded parts, and the entire working mechanism is as smooth as you could want from
a pistol.
All in all, as this is a high power weapon, it makes a great sidearm to any airsoft primary - it will fit in most conventional
drop-leg holsters or vest-holsters, This weapon would do well to accompany a
shorter range primary weapon - as you could use this to make shots your PDW, or SMG cannot make.
(We would recommend using 0.20g / 0.25g's with this pistol)
