SKIRMISH ENTRY GRADE WEAPON - IDEAL FOR FIELD OR CQB


DESCRIPTION: 

Designed in 1964, the H&K Mp5 has since become one of the world's most easily
recognised SMG's - featuring in numerous games and films within the past years,
the MP5 still holds its own against some of the newer, more modern designs of
SMG that are on the market today. Used by over 40 nations and in countless law
enforcement organisations globally, the MP5 is just as popular now as it has ever
been - even with the introduction of its successor weapon, the UMP.

Umarex have replicated this iconic weapon to what can only be described as an
amazing level of effort - the dimensions of the weapon are true to the original, and
generally speaking this is as close to 1:1 scale as you will find with a sportline weapon.
Being sportline, the build of this is (externally) mainly plastic - This is by no means a
limitation however, as this keeps the weapon light and makes it ideal to be carried
around for long periods of time be it indoors or outdoors. The retractable stock featured
on this version of the weapon means that it can easily be adapted for different situations
based on your requirements - the stock can be extended for use at longer ranges to
give more stability when shooting, or retracted for use in close quarters situations where
size is more of a concern than accuracy is!

The actual build of the exterior of the weapon is really VERY good for the price, it is
very sturdy and will not break under normal use - while this is not as strong as a
full metal upper version of the weapon this does NOT affect its performance in a skirmish,
its more than strong enough to stand up to the general knocks and bumps that are
experienced when playing, But may well suffer damage if you were to fall on top of it on
hard ground such as concrete. The weapon does however feature some metal accents
externally, things like the charging handle and shot selector are metal, as are all the body
pins, stock arms, front sight and sling mounting points - generally, all the parts that NEED
to be metal, are metal.

All in all, this is an IDEAL starter skirmish rifle - probably the one of the best beginner weapons
that we offer on-site; it is a great platform to use when first starting the sport and it does not
limit you to one specific role; You might play mainly CQB but then find you prefer field sites,
or you may well play field sites but then find you prefer the role of scout - the MP5 will
allow you to carry out all these roles without changing weapon, couple this with the Fps of
350 and you have what is TRULY one of our best weapons to start "proper" skirmishing on.
