DESCRIPTION: 

The M4 is a relatively modern rifle, with the current US Army version (the M4A1) being
introduced in 1994, It is a reliable and effective carbine that is IDEAL as a standard service
rifle as it is lightweight, accurate, and can be very quickly modified to suit any role on the
battlefield - The M4/16 platform can be used to make DMR's, Snipers, Rifles, Carbines.. etc.
The iconic shape of the M4 has become the symbol for the modern day assault rifle, it has
featured in almost every war game including the likes of Battlefield and Call Of Duty. It is
not only an immensely popular service weapon but also one of the bestselling sporting rifles
(The AR15 version) ever made. It is even popular in the UK as a sport rifle in the correct legal
configuration. 

Dboys have created a great middle of the line weapon, complete with not only a metal gearbox, but
with a metal body pre-installed this is a strong and good shooting rifle ideal for anyone looking for a
new primary weapon for use on the Airsoft battlefield! Based off the S-System style M4, the BY033
features a rather unique looking front end - This helps the rifle stand out from the crowd and gives it
an appearance that is quite unusual for an M4. The S-System front handguard serves as the battery
housing and allows you to fit anything up to a 9.6 Crane battery. The upper section of the S-System
fore-end attaches directly to the rail atop the rifle's receiver; this eliminates any wobble that can be
found in some free float handguards as there is no way the handguard can rotate at all.
The attachment system that keeps the rail held to the upper receiver also works as a riser for any
optics you might want to put on the rifle - couple this with the fact the foresight is foldable means
that this weapon is very accepting of magnified, or ACOG style optics.
The Handguard comes with two small rails on each side, and one medium length rail at the bottom -
This gives you a little extra choice when deciding what accessories to mount on the weapon as it gives
room for torches, lasers, grips etc.
The customisation possibilities for a rifle like this are endless - The addition of a scope to the upper
rail, and a bipod to the lower would instantly transform this weapon into a capable marksman rifle,
even without changing the hop or barrel!, on the other hand - an extended 450 round High-cap and
an upgraded motor would make this a perfectly capable weapon to bridge the gap between support
weapon and assault rifle!

As we have come to expect from most of Dboys newer rifles, the body on this is amazingly good for the
price - it is one of the nicer metal bodies that can be found on a cheaper rifle, and should never need
replacing throughout the life of the weapon. The barrel is solid as any you could find and fits into place
with hardly any give - this is assisted by the fact the rifle has a mock gas tube, some free-float railed
weapons do away with the gas tube meaning there is not that little extra bit of security keeping the barrel
straight. the nylon fibre pistol grip and stock feel great and could easily remain exactly as they are -
however we all know airsoft is just as much about customising your kit as it is shooting it, and as such
replacement parts will fit this weapon with no issues!
Internally this is using a well build and surprisingly well shimmed V2 gearbox - being a standard V2 it is
100% upgradable and will accept upgraded pistons, gears, springs... the whole deal!
