DESCRIPTION:

This is a licensed replica of the WW2 military issues Tommy Gun Sub Machine Gun, Used by the
allied forces (Primarily the USA) The Tommy Gun is one of the world's most iconic weapons and is
easily recognisable by its distinctive shaped stock.
Designed in 1918 By John T Thompson, the SMG was adopted by the US Army in 1938, and
served all the way through until 1971 - Before its Army service the Thompson earned its fame
as the chosen weapon of both the Mob and the Police.

This official Replica is very true to the dimensions and size of the real weapon - it is an IDEAL
starter weapon for any skirmisher looking to get into the range of classic weapons available to
them, This weapon will last a player the three month period while applying for their UKARA, and
is ideal to use to get used to the feel and size of the weapon before moving on to a more
expensive, black model.

The general build of this weapon is really quite good for the price, the imitation wood looks the part
and feels great to hold - the body of the weapon is strong enough to stand up to the trails of use in
normal skirmish conditions, and the magazine fits in place securely with no excess wobble at all!
The gearbox of this rifle is NOT full metal, and as such you should not use a battery more powerful
than the one provided - also, DO NOT hold the trigger down on full auto for a long period of time,
simply shoot in controlled bursts of 3-10 rounds at a time and your weapon should last you right
up until you get your defence!

One thing to note about this weapon is the magazine capacity - This Drum Mag version holds a massive 1000 rounds
so no need to carry extra mags,bbs or speed-loaders into battle,

The gun's action is fine, however the feed from the drum mag is a bit irratic, and the battery supplied from a full chardge could only matain full auto for about 30 secs.

Now I bought it for photo work, so can power it from a bench PSU, and can play with the mag to get it to feed, hence the 2*'s as it's the action I need.

But as a gun for use in the field, based on what I recived, I'd look elsewhere.

Happy with gun , surprised at how solid it was for plastic.
200 shots on winding drum mag , not bad.

I got the gun in September, but I had to send it back as it jammed and needed fixing, the return service was really good and fast. Once I got the replacement gun I was really pleased, it is really accurate and the sight is very easy to zero. Th round up mag is really easy to use and it has a great power. The adjustable hop up is great too. The only problem is the battery does not have the best life on it so buying two is advisable. Great gun though!!! Recommend it any day. It is great value for money.

I have bought and got the gun yesterday afternoon. I am unsatisied with what I got because my long and short cleaning and unjam rod came with out black ends that uctually unjams the gun. As well as the gun jams really easily.
