Beginner Sniper - Skirmish Ready Out Of The Box
DESCRIPTION:
Here is yet another fantastic starter weapon from Double Eagle - a 3/4 size replica of the L96 Sniper,
This is a solid well built weapon with no wobble anywhere on the gun, everything is put together perfectly
and the weapon feels great in the hand - the "P90" style stock gives the weapon an amazingly comfortable
grip while retaining a large solid stock - this means there are no real weak points on the weapon at all, and
allows the construction to remain extremely sturdy. This weapon features a rubberised butt plate and cheek
rest making shooting the weapon very comfortable - couple this with the large top rail, the M59 makes a
fantastic starter sniper.
Do not be put off by the fact this is only 3/4 scale, it is still a large rifle with a long inner barrel, it simply means
that the overall build of the rifle is slightly smaller - this makes the weapon easier to manipulate on the field and
allows you to keep a smaller profile (similar to the WELL Bull-Barrel sniper)
The bolt pull on this rifle is incredibly easy and comes pre-lubricated to allow you to quickly and sharply cycle the bolt
with no unwanted resistance, the weapon also has a flat lower rail, this means you can mount a bipod if you so wish,
OR a Gripod/AFG to help with shooting on the move - because of the slightly smaller stature of this weapon it means
you can just as easily use it as something similar to a DMR, with a non-magnified, or medium range scope on this would
be ideal for supporting your team from the front, as appose to lying in wait behind!
Please note the screws for this gun are already built in the gun to fix it together, you will just need the alan key that comes with it to tighten it together!

Not bad for a intro

For my first airsoft gun to just play around in the garden I was very surprised with it. I went on to buy my own 4x scope and OMG it was and is a nightmare to zero. I am using .20g BBs so I will try with .30g and see the difference. Other than that it's great fun in the garden shooting at targets (if you can hit them)

I purchased the Double Eagle M59 and was using .20 BB and found to be flying either loo low, or high or both. Very frustrating. When switched over to .30's much better accuracy at 20 meters plus. So if you are considering buying this sniper gun then go for heavier BB's. Excellent accuracy now.

Have played with this sniper gun for a week and very pleased. I have been using .20 balls and i think i will try and move to .25 as difficult to be very accurate due to wind etc.
Appears to be well made and fast service from BB guns for less. Had great fun with my son in the garden with this -

This sniper rifle is a great starter sniper rifle for those on a budget. I have currently used 0.20g BB's with this weapon and the distance is awesome, however I wouldn't recommend using 0.20g BB's as the consistency of the shots will go all over the place. I have purchased the 0.36g and 0.40g BB's and awaiting on arrival, and will be testing them out when I have received them. The color of the rifle is not that great for stealth, so would recommend getting some spray paint to spray or even get camo tape if you don't want to spray.
Overall I would definitely recommend this gun for a budget starter sniper rifle for those who want to learn more about Airsoft Snipers. I will edit this review (If possible) once I have tested out the 0.36g and 0.40g B's with this rifle. -

it is currently a horrible colour but after some you tube videos and research you can really make this gun pop, i recommend a woodland sniper camo.

Sniper seems extremely powerful and good quality, although it came with no screws. I have had to order spare screws for £3.00
edit -from bbguns4less dear will the screws are built in to the gun but you cant see them -
Good mid range sniper

Its a brilliant gun for the price, very accurate once zeroed.
Had a couple issues with bb feeding but i put that down to overfilling / newness.
The bipod is a bit naf as the extention doesnt work properly -

The only problem I have is the scope that comes with the rifle, it's not very centred at all, so will have to make adjustments to rifle and possible get another scope

Airlifting since 12 years of age brilliant gun for price shoots about 90-100 metres if hop up done well if not 85 easy. I recommend spraying it

I'm 14 years old I've been air sorting since legal age to. Got this gun for Christmas very good. I have used it at three skirmish events and have got lots of good kills I use 0.25 bbs but it will take and perform well on .28 in my opinion .2 just go of. I have also sprayed the gun but kept some green bits check it out on my Instagram. Charlie_dawkins_

Internal Parts are Disapointing

I have had this rifle about 12 months. Within the first month, the rifle broke and was not able to function. I took the rifle apart and was disappointed to see that the internal parts were made out of plastic. I rung the store, they were unable to sell me any replacement parts which added to the disappointment. After weeks of disassembling and assembling the gun I was able to work out the entire mechanics of the bolt action rifle. This rifle ended up being more educational than functional. I bought upgrade parts on amazon and now functions well. A stronger spring does decrease accuracy but works well. If you are new to airsoft, I would recommend this rifle only if you are willing to buy extra parts for this gun. In the end I couldn't stand the horrible green colour so I had to spray paint it. Now it looks awesome as a camo green type colour. I only use this for garden use. I would not recommend taking this rifle airsofting. You would need a more expensive rifle in order to take part in these games. All in all, the rifle is ideal for youngsters, however, I would not purchase this rifle again.

I bought the one including scope and bipod at £119.99 and although could of got full air rifle for this price this was more suited to my use's as im a back garden plinker 75ft max.What can I say wow my son and me were stunned at how accurate this baby sniper is once you get scoped for distance at 50ft regular bullseye hits and im talking 6mm bulls eye on paper targets.Then onto 70 to 80ft solid targets light bulbs/cans/bottles stand no chance still and paper targets still keeping shots in a 2inch grouping on bulls eye.Next test for us 100ft which im sure will still be good as power is more than sufficient for that distance. but need to open back gate for that run out of garden lol.
For price great solid build quality/great power/stunned by accuracy all in all would recommend to anyone looking for first scoped rifle of any sort love it. -

This sniper is very good quality and for the price of £80 it is very cheap. The scope is outstanding quality and is comparable to a £35 scope. I would suggest buying a bipod as the weapon is a sniper so it needs good stability. only problem I have is locating the hop up.
