Bad Quality

It's garbage. The cylinder isn't mounted stably on the crane, and it will pop out off its mount on the crane; when you either work the ejector rod or tip the gun upwards (provided you swung out the cylinder obviously). Closer inspection reveals that the ridge on the left side of the frame is insufficient to keep the cylinder in place. The gun's internals on the one I bought seized up and wouldn't properly work neither in double-action nor single-action. Also, sometimes cocking the hammer won't completely advance the cylinder chamber. Recent posts I saw online exhibited similar malfunctions with this revolver replica model. While its cool looks as a cheap prop of a S&W Model 10 HB has kept me from giving it a single star rating, these criticisms hinder the novelty of owning one of them.
I'm not sure if the cylinder-popping-out issue is exclusive to the orange UK-safe ones since the numerous videos I watched of the RIF versions didn't show this seemingly, or maybe it's a decline in quality. A video of the orange one did have the same defect I noticed though.
Anyway, despite these issues I came across with this gun, shoutout to BBG4L support in assisting me with returning this defective gun.

Affordable and surprisingly high quality, based on the Smith & Wesson k-frame (it resembles a Model 17 with elements of a model 10, it's not a perfect replica but looks the part). It reloads like a real revolver (so it can be fiddly and won't be a practical backup weapon for many skirmishers), has some proper weight to it, and fires at a good speed. Most importantly, it is stylish as hell, firing as single or double action. Sadly you can't fan the hammer, as it is the trigger pull that rotates the chamber instead of the hammer action, but that's just a small gripe. My friends all want one now after having a play around, and none of them even play airsoft, they just want to plink in the garden. And they can at this price. Don't settle for some £30 trash, pay a bit extra and you won't be disappointed by the surprising jump in quality, without having to pay into triple figures. Just be sure to pick up some .20 pellets (I've heard it can handle up to .25 comfortably but don't quote me) because the ones included are trash.
