Description
The E&C EC-101 is a new rifle from East Crane the airsoft company located in hong kong who are known for their wide range of M4 style rifles.
This airsoft rifle is constructed mainly of aluminium alloy with some metal components. The finish of the rifle is very good with the metal parts having either an anodized finish or powder-coated, giving the rifle a good chance of withstanding the ruggedness of an airsoft game and allows for a high level of protection against corrosion.
The adjustable stock and the pistol grip are made of polymer and engraved in the body are the marks of the manufacturer.
The rifle is equipped with a RIS Picatinny rail (22mm), and the top RIS rail is adorned with metal folding sights, that can be easily removed to mount a red dot or scope if you wanted too.
The flashider is on a standard 14 mm left thread and easily removable, which allows you to remove it and fix a mock suppressor in its place if you have one. It also comes with a 300 round, Hi-Cap steel magazine.
Battery storage is done via a plastic PEQ15 style battery box that the rifle comes with this will allow you to fit a small LiPol battery. The airsoft gun is fully compatible with LiPo 7.4V / 11.1V and LiFe 6.6V / 9.9V batteries.
The EC-101 rifle has a quick change spring system (QD) and will allow you to change the spring with little effort.
With this system, you can remove the gearbox from the body and turn the spring guide a quarter of a turn to remove it from the gearbox without having to open it completely.
The power of the rifle can switch between 310FPS and 430 FPS depending on the spring without having to replace any other internal parts.
The Guns QD gearbox is a version 2 & is installed on 8 mm bearings & the gears are made of steel, the rifles piston is made of polymer and is furnished with steel teeth to enhance its durability. This airsoft gun has a metal Hop-Up chamber.
The bbgun is perfectly balanced and allows for great manoeuvrability.
