INTRODUCTION WEAPON - IDEAL FOR NEW PLAYERS
Based on the iconic Thompson, a classic American SMG chambered in .45Acp; known for its
service in WWII and appearances in many "gangster" Films/Media - this is a very recognisable
weapon. While this version seems to be based off the Thompson M1A1 Military however it has been
modernised with three rail sections; a large top rail section, a smaller lower one at the end of the
handguard, and a final small rail at the "9o'clock" position on the side of the receiver.
This weapon is perfect for new players as it offers high power and accuracy with relatively little
in the way of drawbacks; Its cheap and reliable, and is strong enough to stand up to being
dropped a few times (Something that inevitably happens to all weapons at some point!)
The rifle does not require gas or batteries to run meaning that, in terms of "user friendliness" for
a first timer this is much better than a gas or electric based weapon system as it means they can
get a feel for shooting a weapon before being given the responsibility of timing the charge on
batteries, keeping a gearbox working, etc.
Generally speaking this rifle is actually quite sturdy, the body feels good to hold and doesn't flex
or bend anywhere near as much as you may expect for £20 - it is actually quite difficult to feel
any movement in the components which is rare for such a cheap Springer. When shouldering the
rifle the sight picture is actually again very nice, the RIS section does not interfere with the iron
sights and allows for a nice accurate shot without anything mounted on the upper section.
While personally I feel that this weapon looks best in its "Classic" form, the RIS sections are actually
quite useful for beginners; it gives them the chance to "play" with some attachments and get a taste
of what it is like to create a unique weapon by using grips, sights, torches etc!
