The VSR11 bbgun sniper rifle resembles the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 sniper rifle in design and function but sold at a lower price.

This solid rifle has been constructed mostly with metal and combined with polymers and rubber.
The VSR11 rifle has a velocity of 330fps with 0.20g BBs.
it also has an adjustable sight.
its firm and smooth cocking action are attractions of this sniper rifle. (see the video at the end of this page)

The rifle weighs 5.2 lbs and measures up to 1082mm.The shock cylinder present in the rifle will give more recoil.
The rifle will work with Tokyo Mauri VSR-10 upgrade parts.
the adjustable hop-up is on the side of the gun for easy adjustment.

it has a very cool magazine that fits flush with the gun. (just press the little black button and it slides out)
The rifle has a magazine capacity of 30 rounds.

it also comes with this nice little tub of 500 x 0.20g bb pellets and a speed loader.

I'll try and break this down a bit:
LOOKS.
Well, it's a direct rip of the Marui VSR10, and it doesn't dissapoint, all the black bits of the gun are metal, the rest is ABS plastic, but the whole build feels solid and well made. The Mag is plasic, and feels a little flimsy, and after about 100 rounds I started getting jams where the pin let 2 BBs through instead of 1. if you're intending to skirmish with this I strongly advise you get a Marui VSR10 metal Mag, more durable and fits fine.
POWER/RANGE/ACCURACY
This is by far the most powerful gun in my collection. It's a good 450-500 FPS and fires very straight. I've found that 0.12 and 0.2 g BBs are all but useless as they get totally dragged by the wind. better off compromising on range a litte and getting 0.3g BBs - much more accurate. At 50m I can consistently hit a 10cm diameter target, as long as there isn't wind.
The gun cocks great, it's very smooth and feels sturdy. You're going to need a bit of an arm on you because it can be a little stiff, but once you get the motion down you can knock off a shot every 5-6 seconds. Again, the plastic mag will eventually let you down though!
As a point, When I started trying to fire the thing I realised I'm as shaky as Mohammad Ali, so I'd also advise you get yourself a bipod - but be aware that the barrel is very wide at the stock end, so the standard 30mm bipod fittings will only attach at the very muzzle end of the barrel, which looks a bit odd but works fine..
ACCESSORIES.
The gun comes with an iron sight, which is fine, but doesn't really help with sniping. And I stress that going toe to toe with any decent AEG at a range where the iron sight will be useful will only get you shot. The gun also comes with a RIS rail so you can mount a scope. You'll need a 0.5gauge alan key to get the rear sight of, and you have to remove 2 tiny little lug screws to get the rail on. It's tricky and not explained in the manual, but once you get it fitted it's very sturdy. I've got a Bushnell 3-9x40 scope on it and like I said, once you've got it zeroed and worked out your hopup you can be hitting targets accurately at up to about 60m.
It's built on the Marui model so as far as I can tell it's compatible with the stronger springs, wooden bodies and so on that marui sells, and if you get a rail on it instead of iron sight you can fit anything that will go on a 20mm rail. It's versatile and very upgradable.
DOWNSIDES.
If this is your first airsoft gun and you're going skirmishing don't get this, get an AEG. It's an amazing rifle, but because of it's rate of fire and size you'll be all but useless at close and medium range. Also, there are very few sites in the UK that will allow a bolt action of this power and you won't be allowed to engage at less than 30m (that's just the law). So if you do get this, invest in a sidearm too!!
The gun itself is great though, if you want to be a sniper then I highly recommend. It's a darn sight cheaper than a Marui sniper, and easily as good. Also, I've compared this to the more expensive green version and it's not actually any different. I advise you get this and cover it in camo tape/ grass/ scrim etc because it's hard to hid when you've got a giant neon pole (no giggling)
OVERALL
I'm glad I got the gun, it's a great bit of kit and very good value for the price. Like I said, don't think it's the best 1st option for a skirmisher, but if you're bored of your AEG and considering becoming a sniper then this is probably the way to go.
